My Gen 2 has one pin. I have a Gen 3 (Gen 3 1/2?) that has finger grooves and a rail but only one pin. That transition period was confusing. Great video sir.
Not sure if you still have this trigger, but there’s a .05 Allen screw on the top front that you can adjust. This is what engages the trigger blade safety. I had to turn mine counterclockwise a couple of turns and now mine works like a charm
@@mikeshorsepowergarage7577 yes it’s adjusts the “pre travel” turn it to the left and your trigger blade should engage. Do this little by little, you don’t want to loosen it too much
I just installed the trigger on my Gen4 17 and same issue with the safety. I adjusted the screw on the trigger shoe and it made no difference. Were you able to fix this issue or get better feedback from Timney? Thanks
@@mikeshorsepowergarage7577 I finally got a response from Timney and they said the trigger bar needed to be changed but went silent after. Probably do the same with the Johnny Glock shoe. Thanks
@@mikeshorsepowergarage7577 Great idea. Johnny Glocks has quality triggers. I’ve never had a problem with one and they always do what they say they will. Same runaround from Timney here. I took it out of my Gen 3 model 19 after seeing too many videos of them tripping when dropped.
Awesome video thank you sir
Thanks for Watching

I thought that adjusted over travel? I guess I need to take a closer look? Thanks for the tip and Thanks for Watching!

You should reach out to Timney. Nobody else has mentioned the trigger safety doesn't work, including Johnny Glocks
I did contact Timney. They gave me the run around

I wasn't able to fix it either and Timney's tech support was worthless. I'm thinking of replacing the shoe with one from Johnny Glock.

my trigger safety works just fine but i also have a gen 5
I think that my frame might just be worn a little bit. However a stock Glock trigger safety still engages. Thanks for watching!
Why do you pronounce it Timmy-ney but once in a while you get the right pronounciation?
