I love all moona song in general, but this song as you said bring certain genre back memories in 2000 song.. as for her music production is better after she sign with Holo N label.
When I heard this song I didn't exactly love it but I felt it made perfect sense coming from Moona because this is like the exact genre she sings the most in her karaoke streams. A lot of Avril Lavigne and Paramore and the like. Additionally, the music video was done by Kanauru, a long time hololive and general vtuber fan animator. They've done a lot of animations for official hololive content and always make it either blatantly silly or manage to fit in a ton of silly stuff in the background of shots and other kinds of references to other animations they've done.
The edit where you focused on the middle range was super interesting and honestly sounded really good. I could definitely see a world where thats an official version. While I hope you can do the rest of Moonas songs in the future, id definitely be interested in seeing you explore more talents.
