Ixtagoth - M Boyer (2021 Konkani Song Cover by Roland Pacheco)

This is a dream project long time in the making.
Something I’ve wanted to do for many years, but couldn't and GOD knows why.
My Dada, Antonio Menino Pacheco, was, is and will perpetually be an ardent follower and probably the biggest fan of the late and great Manuel Santana Aguiar infamously known as M. Boyer.
All thanks to my Dada, I took fond liking to M. Boyer and his songs as well. Every song has such emotion and connection to it that even today one can relate to it’s lyrics and make a song any meaning. Whether they are songs about love, hate, politicians and politics or even about our beautiful little Goa, M. Boyer conveyed his heartfelt messages with complete zeal and gusto.
Every kid has a favourite playlist to rock him or her asleep. For Dada, it is M. Boyer and I do not mean that in the wrong sense. In 2008 Dada even visited M. Boyer at his residence in Raia, Goa, India and that I’m sure is one of the best moments of his life.
Thank you M. Boyer for blessing us, moreover my Dada with so so much of euphony.
It was difficult for me to pick that one song to cover. After much pondering I picked his song that speaks about friendship.
Hence here we have it, my mellow rendition of M. Boyer’s hit song “Ixtagoth”.
