💕Honestly TXT are one of only a handful of groups (of any generation) who achieve success both in the west & domestically, As far as I know TXT are the only among the most known 4th gen bgs to make it in the top 10 on Melon top 100(Main chart) or Top 3, They always rank high on Billboard charts & Their still growing, The TXT guide You two reacted to mentioned it in the first section of the video, TXT's Name Chapter album achieved things no other 4th gen boygroup has, it was both a International & Domestic hit, But as you get to know Them more, You'll see just how massive They are

TXT are popular they sell out concerts at Madison square garden USA, Japan, China, they did something in Europe a Kcon and they go France for their Dior Ambassadorship. It's the hate they still get for being BTS little brothers from other groups and Bighit does a lousy job of promoting them..They are with Republic records and they should have promoted this English song but we all know what they are doing.😮🎉 Let's pray the promotion of the new album is better. Freefall was a fantastic album this song is on it.

I mean I think most Moa can on some level acknowledge their strengths without forcing them into specific roles.
Taehyun is always in 4th gen main vocalist lists. Yeonjun is always rightfully in conversations about the best dancers in 4th gen. We can acknowledge that certain members have strengths that wouldn’t just make them ‘main’ or ‘lead’ whatever within the group but would put them in ‘competition’ (not aggressively) with ‘main’ and ‘leads’ from other groups. Hard not to acknowledge that.
But the 5 Aces are in fact 5 Aces.
Txt deserved to be more popular than they are right now❤secondly bighit still did not let txt promote or perform in Europe and latin America even though they are in their 6th year but skz has done concert in those places which helps a group in growing fanbase but txt perform only in us, korea, japan and asia which in a way limits the growth of their fandom. Thirdly, bighit is a shit company even though they have money but they don't promote txt like other groups you mentioned. It is said that bighit don't want txt to get soo bigthat they went out of their control like bts, this is also one of the reasons bighit don't promote txt which is sometimes sooo disturbing for Moas becoz txt had the potential to be the next big thing but it seems that company don't want that as there are various cases which shows the carelessness or neglection of bighit. Deja vu txt lastcomeback got 5m playlists reach on its first day while the rookies of hybe were getting more playlisting than them. So., even though txt is popular but they can be more but if bighit works just a little bit for txt even members of txt has acknowledged thus unfair treatment done towards them.
But again as a Moa i wish and pray that pls txt gets rewarded for their hardwork becoz not only they're exceptionally talented but very kind, gentle, humble and most grounded artist u will ever see who don't take anything for granted..
i think is because txt doesnt get enough promotion from their agency, i honestly sad

yeonjun is the best dancer in the group btw since you mentioned him for rap and kai for dance but yeonjun is pretty much their main dancer so while they don't have official positions, some members still lean towards a certain thing which isn't bad to point out imo as someone who prefers groups having dedicated roles (2nd gen fan). as for popularity they are pretty popular as a 4th gen boy group both in and out of korea I'd say.

As a moa, I get what you're trying to say. There are various reasons why txt is still not that much recognized as they should be, first I completely agree with one of the person's comment here that it could be the bias against txt that they should be under or somewhat below their senior group which in my opinion is so outdated and unhealthy. Next, I disagree with the thing about moas being any less loud about txt. Moas try their best but a fandom cannot alone do all the work, there has to company support and guidance for a group to shine. This is one thing that irks me the most that general people have this perspective that they come from a big company and they must have nice company backup but actually it's exactly opposite. For example say a company xyz gives 15 apples to their group which is very much necessary for them to survive txt's company give them 5 apples and they have to somehow match everyone's expectation from that bare minimum which is very heartbreaking. Moas are constantly with them, but ONLY MOAS ARE WITH THEM :)
I personally want and wish them to get the success, recognition and love that they purely deserve!

I would say TXT is the group with the most balance between being globally and domestically.
As an example, SKZ is more popular globally than domestically, but TXT has fans both. This isn't trying to put SKZ down as they are also in the top 3 kpop groups right now.
I do think you might be slightly misinterpreting the popularity, but you are right as well (they should be wayyyy more popular than they are).
I think the main problem is, as someone mentioned, the bias against TXT. Almost every fandom (who isn't a multistan that listens to TXT) does not like TXT and puts them down at any chance they get. One small mistake and a new hate train happens for TXT (more so than most groups-people like to say that hate goes to every group-and that is true, but not to this extent). Just look at the absolute vitriol and gross hate train against Yeonjun... for doing a dance. He gets hated daily for things like: over dancing, being confident, etc. This man can do anything, and every fandom will find a way to hate him for it, which is sad because he is always working hard. He also has said he watches and reads fan reactions after something is posted, and the hate was legit everywhere (but he seems proud of his solo, so I'm happy for him.
Sorry for the long rant; these were just my responses to your question in the video.
I really enjoy this channel so please don't take this as rude but sometimes watching your reactions, I wonder if maybe Simon is overthinking things and perhaps it can sometimes ruin the enjoyment of the content? Like sometimes things just are and they don't have a reason but it sometimes feels like Simon is so busy dissecting everything and overthinking everything that he doesn't just let himself enjoy what he's watching. I mean no offense btw
