- Spent a day in Johor Bahru (JB) at Mid Valley Southkey mall where we had a delicious Korean BBQ at Palsaik, followed by teatime snacks at Nam Heong Ipoh cafe. There were many good retail and food choices in this mall, which is a favourite of ours in JB. We had a buffet at Cafe BLD in Renaissance JB Hotel. It was definitely of good value. Ended the trip with a walk through the pasar malam at Pasar Karat night bazaar.

Thanks for watching! We would consider the weekday buffet as good value for money - we went on a weekday but the spread is not as extensive as the weekend.
Where do you do money exchange?
We change currencies at the SG malls.
@@playfuldaily Which mall? Last few times I went to Singapore, I got money from Amex counter at the airport.
You can find money changers in various suburban malls in Jurong, Tampines, Punggol etc or in Orchard area like Lucky Plaza. You can also find a lot of money changers in Raffles Place.
Basement got 1 money exchange outlet.
