The recent conflict in Gaza saw its first Indian casualty as a United Nations worker lost his life in Rafah. The UN staffer, identified as Col Anil Vaibhav Kale (retd), was traveling through Rafah when the vehicle he was in came under attack. As per reports, the victim was affiliated with the United Nations Department of Safety and Security (DSS).
