- In this episode we travel from Miami to Key Largo on our 25' Ranger Tug. Plans change for marina stays but all is well in the end. Always good to have a back up plan. Neighbourhood walks lead to some good local finds. We do a final pack up and rinse down before our long haul back home .

I'd love it if you'd do a recap of this season, maybe showing maps and where you started from, where and what you did and where you're returning to.
it's like turning the last few pages of a good book.... you don't want it to end but fondly look back at the story just told.

We're watching you from Washington State, and really enjoy seeing your adventures in the warm water. Our waters aren't exactly warm enough to do a lot of swimming in. We really enjoy how knowledgeable you both are about all the sea critters and boating in general. It's like a fun little class every week! Thanks!
Captainmother , thanks so much for the thoughtful comment. We really appreciate it, as we never know who enjoys what part of the content. Besides filming our adventures and Michaels tips and modifications, Julia just adds bits of information that she finds interesting and hopes others will as well.
Sorry to see you leave your sea sojourn. I took immense pleasure from seeing your weekly videos and seeing a little of what you see. Just a note on your comment about living by the sea and rust. I love at a seaside town in England and if you don't stay on top of things rust can become your greatest enemy.

Sorry to see you guys go... I hope not for long? I've been living vicariously through you for months now, ever since we got our Ranger Tug. We're not quite there with the retirement schedule, but gettin there soon!. I'll probably watch re-runs, Lol. Best wishes and safe travels to (a long way) home!

I agree. My 28ft boat pulls way nicer then my 22 rv trailer.
Thanks for sharing all your Bahamas adventures - we’ve really enjoyed them! A question about servicing your Yamaha outboard. Did you do all service yourself, or did you find a place in the Bahamas that would haul Sea Nest and do your Yamaha 100 hour services?

Did you have the boat lifted out of the water or do you use a boat ramp? What do you use to tow your boat?

Wink, we are always behind by a few months. Meaning what you are seeing happened a few months ago. Julia and I still have full time jobs and we have learned that the video editing takes an enormous amount of time, so in order to juggle all of that we try to film, and post them with a buffer of a few months just in case work gets crazy and we cannot get to editing and posting to TH-cam on time .
Love your videos! Just wondering, you sailed to the Florida Keys and on the return trip, you're driving back to Ontario, Canada? How did you get you vehicle there in the Keys? is it a rental? Thanks
No Ray we drive both ways , and store the truck and trailer with a friend in the keys.

I'm not sure if I missed it in another video. But what did you do with the truck and trailer for the 3 months at sea? Do they have a long-term parking like an airport, at the marina, or did someone pick it up for you than drop it back off at the end of your trip? just wondering incase others would like to do something like this too. thank you.
@@spmfarms3581 You didn’t miss it. We have friends in the Keys who store the boat and trailer for us . It is very difficult to find safe and affordable storage down there .

Guys time permitting, let me know what marina did you use at the keys. My issue, will my truck and trailer be save while at the bahamas for a couple a months. Thank you for your consideration.
@@don_senilo3313 Don , the marina was just a pit stop. We store the truck and trailer with a friend - sorry, can’t help you there
