My youngest went to Lavington School, and now my Granddaughter goes there too :o) I love that whole area around Lavington Vidette and further in. I used to spend many a happy hour in my old 4x4 clicking away doing wildlife photography, It's amazing how much there is up there that's totally unphased by all the Mil activity. It became my 'go-to' spot whenever the mood was low and driving from LV across the plain and end up at the Bustard for a pint was a fantastic lifter of the spirit. At some times of the year it feels like you're on the Serengeti up there :o) Thanks for the memories mate, I live about four miles from you as the crow flies :o)

Looks nice there. Nice and isolated, too :-) I know some villages near you, Pewsey, Upavon, and a couple of others. Lots of low flying helicopters I remember. Gliders, too. Walks through poppy fields. Memories coming back. I need to go back there when this virus thing is under control. Stay safe.

Personally I dont find it boring at all, i do a bit of writing, drawing and painting, sorting all my photos and to a lesser extent videos and of course amateur radio , A few years ago I had a serious accident which made me frightened to go out of my flat on my own, physically i healed ok but mentally it took quite a while, for the first two years after the accident i never left our flat, my wife doing most of the shopping so yes I am used to staying in for long periods of time, does it bother me...not really but I do keep myself occupied finding things to do, some people will find it tough especially if their life revolves around outdoor interests, I too sat up and watched Matts pathetic sewing, but in a strange way it was highly entertaining, Matt is good at what he does, but I must admit I only watched it till 0300 when I had to go to bed, It was good to chat with other viewers and gain their perspective on things, anyway another fine video, filmed early morning i think, thanks for sharing Matt......stay safe and wash your hands....Mike

I was laughing to myself wondering how long you can keep a drone up in the air in Wiltshire before all the crop circle hunters in their 4x4's start chasing it in hopes that it will create a crop circle!! Very silly I know but the thought amused me for 30 seconds during lockdown!!
Love your videos Matt. Please be careful flying over villages though. People are so paranoid these days. i use to fly a DJI Phantom 3 until some idiot rang the police claiming i was filming his house. It put me off flying after that
Yup, thanks. I really dont care about the police coming around and yeah some idiots complained when I first put this up including one who made threats he was going to shoot it if he saw it - but later apologised when he realised he would lose his gun license if he kept that shit up.

they fly for 25 mins, but if you tehther with a wire giving them power you can fly then all day.

Its a beast to carry and get going and has limited time in teh air but the RAW camera is impeccable so its for special uses only.

They have been modded - all of them... can get about 30mph out of mavics... and 50mph with Inspire.

Mavic Pro and Mavic Pro2 this may have been on my Phantom4 but theyre crud really. Got rid of it after a crash... they fly like crud.
