@@chrisflynn9111 couple of people have told me that a aftermarket bov will help with turbo longevity as the prefacelift models don’t have them but the facelift models do👍
@@ryanhennessey1009 I just blew mine driving today was smoke all over the place. I'm going to order a new turbo. Any stuff I should check while taking it apart? And before I start it back again with a new one.
@@Dealzu ahh no, you’re going to need to take your intercooler off & clean all the oil out, before you start it take your spark plugs out & turn it over, any oil in the head will shoot out 😂
@@ryanhennessey1009 I had no idea you had to do that thank you I took it apart today it has way to much play and it's hard to turn.I'm going upgraded turbo. I have the same model as you what sucks is I can't find any videos of replacing it just went off what you showed in some parts lol

Be good once you get the sky line back to life ,will need plenty o tlc .
Its heaps common with 2013-2015 models. That’s why it is recommended to get 2016+ models

Doesn´t it makes this worse when driving up to the tow truck instead of using the winch?
We did use the winch car wasn’t running 👍

Yes the seal, they tend to go around 90k I’ve been told
Add the weistec BOV to release turbo surge

@@kenturner134 it’s common for them to go around 90k you should be fine with a lower mileage one

Did your turbo start making a loud whistle sound before it blew?
No not that I could hear I was on the motorway & it started pissing smoke 💨 out the exhaust like a steam train 😂
