But its just amazing how they have such a good business model with the online sales and youtube part. They are just a small "mom and pop" type store yet they have such a huge reach with the youtube / marketing. its a smart business decision and its also smart how transparent they are with everything. If you watch their videos and weekly Wednesday "chat" videos you will see.

There are not many people who are as transparent about their business as you are and it's amazing to see what you go through to make your dreams happen. I replicated this design for a rack to hold my 4 29 tanks. It was incredibly tedious leveling it and in the end I probably could have done just a little bit better. I have an enormous amount of appreciation for how difficult and time consuming this construction project was for you.

We fitted out 3 sheds with the old shelving from the supermarket I used to work at. It was all going to landfill. They were only too happy to get rid of it.
All of that infra structure plus what you work on your daily routine PLUS making videos for us. How do you manage to do all that and still smile, be positive and excited about this hobby is beyond my comprehension. I have a huge admiration for you and what you've built and become so far.

I know this is a little older, and not sure if it was brought up. You might save money by upgrading and installing a single uv in line on a closed loop. This will allow you to set up a pump specifically for the UV, and adjust for the hang time. Some bacteria requires a specific time and flow through the UV to completely destroy the cell membrane. Something I have learned from starting my saltwater reef tank.
Was seeing if you still had that outdoor drive way, with the guppy tubs. I've also seen you ordered some arowana before. And crrr..razy ideas become normal, at the right time...good to see everything ,hope it's around years to come. Every year practically a big world changer . I suggest big above ground outdoor ponds, somewhere ...
I hope that you cause a revolution of fish stores. I think you're stirring a ripple already, but I hope those grow into waves. I'd like to see someone put their soul into a shop for the people with success... who knows, it might even be me lol. I thought about it. But Hawaii is notorious for small business startups, and probably why some chain stores take a long time before they decide to pop open a store here. It's daunting. Can you imagine us at a million." I was at the 1 Million Super Fish Bowl Live Stream. Wow! You've come a long way! The walk through of the store gives me that comfort feeling of being in a place that brings me peace (fish stores in general). This hobby for me is 90% enjoyment and 10% work. I am always learning something new. My granddaughter (10) plays an active role in our 12 tanks and she, too, watches your videos. Thank you for not only all your expertise, but for sharing it in a way that benefits people of all ages.

I have various in my tank and home. I have a beautiful bright yellow red male. I am doing my own breeding with them. I have speckled platy. They are all either gold, or silver. I am three generations deep so I have only just begun with them. They are developing quite nicely and now they are throwing me tiger stripes. I plan to take the stripes and run with them in a different tank. The ones with strips also have the bars on the tails. They look like mini Perch almost I guess if had to compare to another fish.

From a business perspective, what does a coop mean in your case? It kind of seems like you are a regular pet store. When you hire a worker, do you give them an ownership claim in the shop?
