Another person to throw onto the list for the sequel to "Controversial Artists: Where Do You Draw the Line" is Static-X's former guitarist TRIPP EISEN, who was on their 2003 and 2005 albums. Eisen was arrested in 2005 for STATUTORY (Kid Rock said "mandatory" in his song in Osmosis Jones) SEXUAL ASSAULT of a teenage girl, ended up being kicked out of the band and forced to register as a sex offender.
Here is a good video that confirms your suspicions from 1h31m into this podcast. Edsel states that PR1 has the tracks with the most to work with and first to finish. PR2 was scraping the barrel while still trying to stick with the Static-X sound. Also hints at a future of completely new material 👍 th-cam.com/video/6iW9_nlxz54/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Scnp9uoENYwfs8HO
That makes more sense. I'm impressed with what they have achieved but hopefully the close off this chapter. Would be cool to see what happens in the future 🌶️
JIC is clearly not Wayne, it's Edsel Dope, or Xero, I've counted 5 songs on new album that it's definitely not Wayne singing, a few backup vocals, kinda disappointing in Vol 2,

This was top of my list for next episode and thinking of this while writing this review 🌶️
I’m curious to see what they do later on.
I hope they carry on. Would be interesting to see how the proceed 🌶️
Love the album. Cant wait to see them this spring.
Nice. Which tour is that for? 🌶️
North American tour. They're swinging through Alberta in May

I've thoroughly enjoyed it.
It's a welcome reprise that's for sure. Some great songs on here 🌶️

Nice one. I'll check it out 🌶️
it has its moment, I will premiere my take later today.
It's about what I expected from this 🌶️

Black star and kamikaze are my favorites
Do you think they should continue? 🌶️
@livelistenerased Yes. Static x without wayne is still good. Might as well let statix x perform I mean the band is called static x not wayne static.
I actually did a Q&A with Xer0 just a few days ago, and he said that vol. 2 is definitely more of a Frankenstein piece. And vol. 1 is way better.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one hearing this. I can hear a bit of Wayne but it feels like just a handful of lyrics and Xer0 does most of it 🌶️
Xer0
Ngl I think I'd prefer if they keep touring for a little while (5-10 years or so) and don't make new music. Vol 2 is a great note to end on
I could get behind that idea 🌶️
