Hi wondering if you could help as i am a bit stuck. I changed my engine in my 2006 cooper r50, when i did i put a new clutch in. When running engine in the clutch was perfect, and still is below 3500rpm. But now engine is run in above 3500 the clutch pedol drops about half way down (under load or just reving). So i removed slave cylinder and measured clutch arm movement with revs below 3500rpm and above, its the same. So bleed the system with slave compressed 3 times. No diff, so changed slave and bleed same way 5 times. No change, mechanics have looked at it and are lost. Next is master cylinder but dont se how it effect it. Below 3500rpm clutch pedal and clutch operation is perfect, and above still works perfectly but with half the pedal. Any info would be gratefully appreciated as in a few weeks will be driving round scotland. Your videos are brilliant and make my car a hobby.

Before I found Mod Mini how cars worked was a mystery. Now thanks to your videos i have done everything on my three mini's from timing chains, clutches, to replacing head gaskets. Can I get a certified modmini TH-cam mechanic certificate or maybe a bumper sticker? Thank you for the best education! It has changed my life and love of mini's.

My only car is my 2002 R53 Cooper S that I bought brand new. It has done 73,000 miles and comes up for it's 20th birthday in October. While I don't do any work on my car, Mod Mini's videos have been a great source of help with what might be wrong with it and what preventative maintenance should be done. I had the supercharger oil change done last month. I keep wondering if the gearbox oil should ever be changed, I've not seen much about that.

Not allowing automatic AC saves weight on the GP1? Really? I find that hard to believe. The weight is in the compressor and condenser and all of that is common between the manual and automatic AC. I guess a knob and a bit of computer control weighs more than I thought...

The rear wiper seems a strange removal for the GP1. OK the motor does weigh something. But having driven my R53 Cooper S with a broken rear wiper on wet dirty roads, I know you can't see a thing out of the rear window in such conditions. The GP1 is a racing car, but surely even when racing you need to see who is behind you trying to overtake?
