    I wish we could see more of the house. I would have liked to have seen all the bedrooms and bathrooms and any other rooms.

    I have long admired this stunning home in the desert. Everything about it is perfect…that piano-shaped pool! 😮❤

    Perfect house for the times. We owe a debt of gratitude to whoever talked him out of a Georgian mansion in the desert. Yikes! Thanks for another great video

    Sinatra, a "crooner" was also referred to as "Old Blue Eyes" and "Chairman of the Board"! He didn't write music though, he sang the works of other great songwriters and worked with talented musical arrangers! He was also a very talented painter and his favorite color when it came to decorating his Palm Springs home was "orange"! He also had ties to the Kennedy family which I won't go into here now. Some well-written bios on this iconic star. Ive been around since the 1950s and 60s, may he rest in peace~🧡🎼🎵🖌🎨🌴🌴

    Frank Sinatra's home was actually one of the first mid century modern houses which started the iconic trend of which Palm Springs is so famous for. Many famous architects contributed to this style for the next 20 years.

    A few years ago, a friend was doing some work on Twin Palms, and we got to tag along to tour it. Such a cool house!

    I am a musician and I enjoy seeing the homes of different musicians. Young and old any kind of music it’s always interesting to see where these creative people live.

    Huell Howser was here. Sinatra had a model train set, painted artworks, and his wife made him smoke outside! Nice to see it again.

    What a beautiful house ! I wonder how much of the furniture was Frank's! I hope its protected and on the historical list! There will never be another voice like Old Blue Eyes!

    Misleading title, talk about Frank Sinatra for 6 minutes, maybe 3 minutes of his house tops. Personally I love all things Frank Lloyd Wright and the mid century modern aesthetic that came a few years later. Low ranch houses built right near the ground to connect you to the yard, floor to ceiling picture windows, those big sliding glass doors. Your view of the yard/woods/outdoors is so spectacular it feels like you are living with nature.

    Love it matches all of the Palm Springd astetic. It's like stepping back into the 60's here. Bet he as well as other snow birds where only here in the valley during nicer months. Not like when its 125°+ degrees in the hotest summer months.

    Not generally a fan of midcentury modern as a style. But Sinatra's house is an exception. He did it right and Palm Springs is the right background for that kind of house.

    Fun fact, Frank Sinatra never liked the song My Way. He thought it was arrogant.

    Needed more history on the house, who owns it now, condition, etc. Contemporary designs are kind of cold to me. Surprised he didn’t do something that blended the landscape into the house, more Frank Lloyd Wright might have done.

    I enjoy your videos and house tours, but it's getting to be a bit wordy with the biography. Get to the house and stay relevant to the title/thumbnail. It's like going to a recipe on a website and having to slog through 2k words about how the recipe made you feel as a child before actually getting to the recipe.

    • @joef2932
      @joef2932 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Totally disagree. The first part is information on the owner and the second part is the house details. The whole video is 9 minutes long. How wordy can it be.

    • @laurae.1298
      @laurae.1298 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If you clicked on a 9 minute video to see a house and instead got two minutes about the house and got 7 minutes of biography that you probably already knew....that's about 7 minutes of wordiness.
