Thank goodness finally somebody actually can show the all-wheel drive and actually drive the car. Your the man thanks. Everyone else is promoting and can't prove it wow. Only one thing is it the same power as the CX-5 with the all-wheel drive setup.
I drive since new a 2009 Mazda 3 s hatchback 2.3 with 5 speed auto and 195,000 miles. I have been dumping money lately for suspension parts at all four corners and a trans module. A trans module is not a rebuild. At the end of the last 5000 mile oil change interval I got back from a 2000 mile Marathon trip in 50 hours. Car ran like a champ. Did not burn or leak a drop of synthetic oil.
@@theyoungstunna11 i agree, something new isnt always good. Mazda had kept up or even surpass Toyotas and Hondas reliabilty IMO. I want Mazda to start making their own trucks and tap in to that market. The Tacoma is slipping and reliability is in question. Its that time to enter in to that market and i think thats why, ford brought back the ranger
Test drove a GS AWD the other day and that was good! Despite on all season tires it never lost grip during acceleration without traction control kicking in and I drove on a snowy/icy surface. Last week I test drove the FWD and that also drove well but would lose traction on snowy/icy road.
360 camera m8, u can see the front and screen resolution is much better now, I would say equal or better than in some german premiums I tried in last 2-3 years.
How does Mazda’s AWD work in this car? I know it’s front wheel biased but is it always sending power to all wheels or just when the system knows it’s wet or snowing? Edit: let me explain further. Take Acura’s AWD, it’s always sending power to all wheels just some wheels get more than others. It changes power delivery depending on certain variations like peddle depression and cornering. Is this system similar or is it like a Nissan AWD where it completely decouples the AWD mechanisms and only engages when needed.
its FWD all the time for fuel economy but when the computer detects slip on the front wheels, windshield wipers are active (it’s raining) snd multiple other factors, it can transfer up to 70% of the power to the rear wheels.
Marc Micheal so I wouldn’t really need the AWD for here in Houston because I want to buy one but I wanted to know what kind of AWD this had because everybody wanted Mazda to put it in but if it’s not for performance then why such a high demand
so by default the highest trim of the hatch will be black, and the sedan will be silver, but you can ask the dealer to install the gunmetal or black rims as a factory installed accessory, at a price ofc.
Watson Lee few batches of the Mazda3s were made in Japan. I’m assuming that the first batches of the new Mazda3s are built in Japan. I haven’t seen any Mexico-built 19 3s yet.
might have to wait till 2020 for the x engine, but tbh we have no clue if it will be better in performance, if anything more fuel efficient. the Sky-active g has amazing pull, and also great pickup speed, so i would recommend that as they continue to develop the x engine better in the years to come.

One other thing I forgot to mention does the all-wheel-drive come in a manual shift: 6 Speed gear box
You’re welcome. I’m glad you liked it. Unfortunately in the Canadian market that transmission drivetrain is not available. :(
So good. you should do a side by side acceleration of a front wheel drive and an all wheel drive to show the difference.
AWD + 2.5 turbo = winner
drsonicify almost... no manual transmission killed the deal.

I can't wait for that Skyactive X........
same, im very close to buy the non x version, my patience is running out
@@Dexxter_slav Don't do it. Just wait for the X. It will be worth the wait.
I’d wait on that engine for a few years Until it’s proven reliable

X engine will be on Mazda 3?

You can see that the awd system is comming on a lot of car, like the nissan altima
What accessories are going to be available for these new gorgeous vehicles? Especially the sedan.
Can you do a video showing all colors for the sedan ?
Love your channel. Thanks for the video. Looking forward to seeing it in person 😉😍
Could you use those ramps to test awd?
I’ll find some around our area!
Looks like a pretty nice awd system. I think I may wait for the new CX-30 hatch to come out w SkyactivX.
Has no one shoe-horned a 2.5T on a Mazda 3 yet? It'll make for great content i'd wager ;)
Thanks for showing us the white color sedan
Can't wait for this to be available in US.
It is now. Just saw one on a lot today. $25K
What’s the 0-60 time

It’s not like Acura’s SH AWD where the power can shift side to side...only front and back up to 50% rear

There’s a good demonstration of how the Mazda3s AWD works in rollers in my next video.
Can you choose between the light and dark rims on sedan? Just seemed to me like the hatch has the dark and the sedan comes with light rims.

Im planning to get the gray metallic with black rims
how much power can it send to the rear?
Good video. The car looks great, even in white.
So that had the skyactiv x in it or was it a skyactiv g
Skyactiv-G
Do you have any info when would this become available in philippines?
Most likely the 4th gen will be introduced in phil by the end of the year.

Ive heard rumors that they plan to offer a supercharged version...i hope it's true.

The North American market favours automatic transmissions rather than manual transmissions.
