I tested Jabra Evolve 65, Jabra Evovle 75 and Plantronics Voyager Focus. Jabra Evolve 65, Jabra Evovle 75 was returned. Plantronics Voyager Focus is my best of.
If your phone has NFC, pairing is made easier. You just turn the headset on and touch the back of your phone to the back of the earpiece (with the mike boom on it) and your phone asks if you want to pair. You can attach to TWO Bluetooth sources at once. To get the enhanced range, you need to use the Bluetooth dongle that comes with the headset. It won't go 100 feet when you pair to your phone. I agree the sound is not what you'd get from something like Sennheiser earbuds with the multiple-baffle tips, but it's pretty good.
Isn't the dongle wireless DECT and not bluetooth? I know that it says bluetooth everywhere, but it seems as if it is a wireless signal and not bluetooth.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I'm using the headset now for meetings and support. The mute feature is a deal-breaker. Better hold in that sneeze or cough for ~3 seconds while you feel around for the button on the side of your head, hope you hit it in the right way to get it to depress, then hold it for 2 seconds and wait for the voice to say "...... Muted." And then you can let out your sneeze. Also, it won't allow you to mute the microphone unless you are "in a call" and auto-unmutes itself as soon as the call ends. And there does not appear to be any way to change that behavior. The Jabra 75 will mute when the microphone is put into the vertical position, but not the 65.

You cant use this headset outside of a quiet office, the cushioning doesnt adhere to your ears very well letting in tons of outside noise. Thanks for the educating video. Wonder if you can answer a question. Once connected to a Windows 10 PC/laptop, would the sound switch automatically from the speakers to the Jabra headset or would I have to go to the Sound Settings and change the Output device - every time?

I agree that the quality of the materials does not look long lasting ... Nevertheless, I think the price of the product is about of what they do. I could assure that the quality of the voice when in calls trough Skype for Business or MS Teams is really good... ambient noise cancellation also good. I'd recommend for long time hours of call.
I have a Jaba Evolve 65. My only 2 complaints are: The Bluetooth connection is completely unstable on my iPhone. It comes and goes when my phone is in my pocket. I tried to walk and listen to a podcast but it was impossible.
I purchased these based on your review and I am pleased with them. Do you know or does anyone know how to switch between devices? MY laptop and mobile phone are connected and it says 2 devices but how do I switch between them?
That’s great! I have mine connected to my pc and phone, I usually turn off the Bluetooth on the phone when I’m using it with the laptop and vice versa. This the most efficient way I have figured out.
Philipp Fischer I have not figured out how to record the sound from the headset. If it helps, people have told me how clear it is when I’m on calls, it also cancel out a lot of background noise.

When I connect this headset, it shows 2 playback devices 1. Headset Jabra EVOLVE 65 Hands-Free 2. Headphones Jabra EVOLVE 65 stereo. What's the difference? Also it keeps beeping in and out as if it goes to sleep and then back on when there's some sound to play. Thanks heaps :)
@@RedPS5 dont think its that - when I start playing a video with sound, it beeps and then it feels as if my ears have popped and then the sound starts - this also means I miss the first few seconds of audio in that video and have to rewind. Weird but really want to figure out what causes this.
They do suck BIG TIME, I got them in my new job, they're detected 3 times under different names in control panel, they shutdown with no warning and usually don't work correctly with Skype.
Yes you can, simply pit headset in paring mode using the button on them and use your bluetooth option on your phone to find and pair, note you can connect the pc and phone at the same time

I got mine at a computer swap meet for $5. But they didn't come with the USB Bluetooth dongle.
This headset is optimized for office use. That is why you did not enjoy the music.

You cant pit the call on hold, you can use vol down, press for 2 secs and release for mute/unmute

For the beeping i think that is a audio notification when the headset ia on mute, you can disable this from jabra app
