- Another busy day at Cotswold Airport. plenty of general aviation movements, and some ground handling tests of one of the ZeroAvia Dornier 228's(hydrogen). finishing the day off with a Spitfire MkIX arriving ready for the Friday pleasure flights. Watch out for the V22 Osprey overflight too
Nice! I recently moved from Kent to Chippenham and its been nice seeing plenty of action in the skies over our house! We were always entertained by aircraft from Biggin, Redhill, Fairoaks, Blackbush.....and all points South over the past thirty odd years, with a daily dose of multiple Spitfire flights throughout the season, and I was worried I would miss them!😊
It was nice to have the pair of Wasps over the house and good you caught them here.
I am still to get up to 'Cotswold' but will do soon.
(Had a nice day at Compton Abbas a few weeks ago too!)
Enjoying your posts, si thanks and keep them coming! 👍🏻😁
Thank you
You'll enjoy Kemble, good cafe too and usually lots of aviation variety as well👍✌️😊💜

Thank you!
I loved working at Fairoaks back in the late eighties and into the nineties and then spending a lot of time at Headcorn, Redhill and Biggin Hill. Time for a new adventure! 😁
Thoroughly enjoyable that, a busy day, with lots of variety. Strange how the Pipers are like spoons now and Cessnas in the minority.
That Spitfire bounce at the end, was a bit close to an oscillation 🤔🤫🤔
Glad you enjoyed it, yeah we all thought similar
