Hi, I've followed your rendering instructions but the colours on my rendered mp4 file are a bit washed ou,t and the dividing line between colour blocks is slightly blurry, compared to the bold colours and sharp dividing lines a can see both in my After Effects widow and my original Adobe Illustrator artwork. Any idea why this is happening?

I just replied to your question on Skillshare, but I'll reply here too incase it helps anyone else!
I'm afraid the slightly blurry borders are pretty normal for a .mp4 file. You could try rendering out a higher quality format, like a .mov, but the compromise is that it will be a bigger file size.
The washed-out colors should be fixable though! In After Effects, in the Project panel, click the rocket icon at the bottom. This brings up the Project Settings. Go to the Color tab. For the Working Color Space, I usually use sRGB IEC61966-2.1. If this doesn't make your render better, it might be worth experimenting with some other settings or doing a bit more research (color can be pretty complex!) but hopefully this will be a quick fix. You could also try increasing the Bit Depth.
      Hope this helps!
