GenDale is a Martindale Abrasion Testing System that is primarily used to test shoe fabric, shoe lining, and a variety of other shoe-related materials. The equipment can test up to four specimens for abrasion at the same time. The fabric specimen is measured by rubbing it in a complex direction of back-and-forth motion. The number of cycles performed until a hole forms in the test area of the fabric specimen determines the accuracy of abrasion strength. This machine is the industry leader in Certified Martindale Abrasion Resistance Testing, with results that are accurate, reproducible, and user-friendly every time.
