You're very welcome, Calvin. Thank you for your business! We are grateful for customers like you.
🙂 I noticed after 6 sets of blades needing sharpened badly, a builds up of disc material from sparks and metal discharge, on the arm of the sharpener. I tried to knock it off, twisting it by hand, short of disc cutting it, it is still on there, maybe ill send a pic tomarrow. I knew buying the more expensive original unit, I would be doing my self a favor- so many complain about the knock offs and i did not want to be the same,, I enjoy not complaining :)🤣
We always sharpen our blades with the elbow of the guide arm flipped back toward us so it's not next to the grinding wheel when sharpening. That's a good preventative measure to avoid build up from grinding. If you'd like to send a picture to support@allamericansharpener.com we can have a look to see if we can recommend a remedy for removal. We appreciate your business, and want your sharpener to serve you for many years to come!
The Pferd discs are awesome!
Glad you like them! We've been impressed with them as well!
