The game's story is the best story I have ever experienced of any medium. Even if you didn't emphasize how much you liked the story, you being indifferent to very pleased about everything but the story, then hearing that the story made it to your top 5 list of any games meant a lot. For anyone who hasn't played the game, just trust us when we say there is NOTHING like this game. There may be a better told story out there. There may be a more impactful narrative of another game, I'm not saying this was the best game ever made... but it touched me in a way I had no idea any work of fiction could, countless times. The story alone makes this my third favorite game of all time, even if I would never replay it. Oneshot is storytelling at its finest, and I genuinely believe with my heart that nothing can top this game's story within the next decade or so. This game has stuck with me for over a month, and I will never forget it. Every time I see that lightbulb in my steam library, I stop and smile. I will never forget it. Never.
Something I don’t think you talked about enough, was the atmosphere because the way it combines the piano melody with this abandon world, feels both calming but also kinda depressing and uncomfortable.
I am glad you decided to post this video, because I was thinking of getting this game a few months ago because of the fantasy vibe I love so much, but I was focusing on other games I like at that time (Celeste, Hollow Knight, Deltarune, etc.)
