Guys, you have been quite an inspiration. In 1968 I got my freedom by quitting my job and hitch-hiking everywhere with Bob Dylan singing in my head. Today I'm 74 and I've got my freedom by selling my house, buying an old campervan and driving everywhere, still listening to Bob Dylan on my headphones. Anything is possible in life, no matter at what stage of life you're at. Peace guys ✌️
Love your passion!! Our van life journey started when my hubby bought an ex ambulance on Ebay after too many ciders one night, we converted it ourselves, sold our tent and after decades of staying on campsites we now travel all over the UK and France stopping wherever we fancy meeting lots of lovely people. Absolutely no regrets
Hi, check out This tiny life a couple and baby living on a canal boat, love to forage and made a marmalade from dandelions recently, love watching you two and daisy, great to see moving easier safe driving xx
Spot on with all that when the kids grow up, where many just hang in there and realize that don't like who there living with anymore, whilst not taking the time to find one another again. Van life isn't for every one,but it offers chat time, mental steadiness and a different way to go. You two have that balance, I'm sure it is difficult at times, so if your happy, do it.
I couldn't agree more with what you've both said here. For me the freedom comes from not being on anyone else's schedule. I don't have to work my freedom loving self around any travel times,I can wake up in the night and go somewhere else if the inclination takes me. Also you get to sleep in your own bed wherever you are! I use wild garlic to make pesto and flavour nettle soup..it's definitely a superfood. Thanks for taking us to Pately Bridge,I haven't been there since I was a kid💕
That was a fabulous video. Thanks so much. Yours is a lifestyle that I could have handled in the days of my youth but which, for various reasons, just wouldn't have worked for me later on and now. However, that doesn't stop me from enjoying it vicariously through your channel. Keep them coming!🤗🤗🥰🥰 Emma, it's good to see you moving around much better.
Emma you can eat every part of dandelions 😁 even the roots. The flowers and leaves are lovely on salad petals also make deliscious syrup. The dandilion root when roasted and brewed is like coffee. Wild garlic makes a great pesto.😄 I love the freedom you both have. Reece is right van life does not have to be permanent, infact having the freedom to choose is great. 💚
Ultimately it comes down to personal choice. Being part of the system is so claustrophobic. You two are so inspirational in the reality we should be free to do what we want. Thanks for the great videos xx
The feeling of being trapped in a house, yes!!!! That's it. I keep trying to get rid of things, I have had to be stopped (more than once) from literally removing my kitchen units and setting up a camp stove and a standalone bowl on one little unit. My sister attempts to keep me 'normal' but I absolutely want to escape. Currently doing nights and trips when I can, but the more I do, the less I want to be in a house, ever! Fab video, glad to see Emma is recovering and honestly it is lovely to hear the comments about vanlife and doing what we can and feeling confident about it. Some people are so judgy, thanks for being absolutely the opposite xx
Yeah you do you 😊😊 I think a lot about the house thing, I don’t think we were ever supposed to live in houses as humans 😂 that’s how it feels anyway. The open road you just can’t beat it can you 😊😊😊😊 thank you son much for watching 😊😊😊
