My family moved to Lydgate in the 1800s, one of them married the Manager of Robinwood Mill (0:48) You can see Robinwood Terrace, coming towards the front centre of the picture, which was built for mill workers. Great pics, it's a travesty they would demolish the bridge Street Methodist church to put up a one stop, same for roomfield baptist church, it's like they've downgraded to square plastic tat
Its actually so sad and dystopian that there used to be so many different like buildings and shapes and amazing creative designs and now its all just boring straight down square buildings
