Thank you for the usefull video! There is one thing though, you should be looking out for: The smokes for the CT Side, where you are "blocking" the entrances to the bomb sites are not good. Each one of them is either to deep or extends to much, so the T Player can Lurk through them and do a play. There are better line-ups for them.
Of course there are going to be well known nades included when they still work and are important for gameplay tactics. The video took a long time to make due to me finding all the line ups myself, and double checking that some "old" important ones still work. There are many new players after the cs2 release so they might not know of all the "old" important lineups either :) Hope that clears it up, and have a wonderful day!
True, but the same smoke covers left side of stairs as well. Making potential CT's at stairs move into a more open position. It all depends on the play, but I personally would rather check sandwitch from palace than to check stairs/connector considering AWP's usually do not play sandwitch. That's my opinion though.
In practice, how many different smokes do you use per map? The fact that we can only carry 1 smoke and therefore have to prioritize, it ends up for me with using 1 smoke per area of map - so about 3 smokes per map only.
I usually learn a minimum of 3 smokes per site (+mid area) for each side. For example, for Mirage T-side I mainly focus on "CT, Stairs and Jungle" on A site, "Window, Short and Connector" in mid area, and "Market Window, Bench and Short" on B site. Depending on the map I might know more due to my team most of the time knows nothing... So, often it is a minimum 18 smokes per map for me.
this smoke guide is actually so underrated, good job!
Great video! Very clear and concise descriptions of the lineups and how each smoke can be utilized in real situations.
Best mirage smoke tutorial. Period
Thank you! I appreciate it :)
This was very useful. thank you!!

The T bench smoke is no good either (CTs are throwing it themselves for a reason). Better throw a smoke on to the balcony or between the aps windows.
9:57 old CT incendiary grenade has me wondering how long it took to make this video

Actually the stairs smoke you showed is the old one which gives some cover to CTs on sandwitch position. Pretty dangerous smoke to thwor
