I watch this video from time to time and whenever I do, I always end up crying.
Prince Wook loved till the end Hae Soo. He chose his family beacuse he was upright person. Then he chose fight for power as he wanted to protect family and Hae Soo but he has never stopped loving her. He was always giving his heart but he made mistakes. He loved her more then prince So, but Hae Soo chose prince So.

Ahahaa u forgot to mention that he wanted the throne for himself too.. not just for his fam or soo. Dont get me wrong i LOVE soo and wook but i think wook did things the wrong way that soo couldnt accept which is why he lost soo in the end. Kang ha neuls eyes tho omgg makes me crazy
Also if u want to put it this way so always chose soo no matter what. He wouldnt let anyone try to touch or harm her even if it was his mother. So stands up for soo a lot more than wook did but ok yes wook did have more to lose. Overall great male leads!

Their last scene was great. Wook finally gived up on her and wished her happy life with Jung. It shows that he really loved her. He wanted her to be happy and for me that's a real love. That's why I think that Wook and Jung loved more Hae Hoo then So. But Hae Soo really loved So. For a long time I couldn' t accept Wook and Soo break, so I really liked their last scene.
mile It was going to happen as we know it from the beginning, but what can we do. I'm just glad to see them longer together with a beautiful chemistry. The last scene was bittersweet to me. Rather than saying that Wook have gave up, I prefer him learning to let go. Because he never stop loving Soo, he let her go, but he never stop caring and that's true love. It was unconditional love with respect, understanding, and not selfish. Sincere love from Wook makes him the real man!

it's been years but wondering where did you get all the clips? a few things here makes me think the version i watched was a little different. and i have read that the international version (which i watched) does have some differences from the one that was aired live in Korea.

Does anyone else get annoyed with Baek-ah? The line "Why can't they understand the way we feel. They just can't trust but can't explain..." really hit me, even until the end when Wook want to sent Soo farewell off, his attitude really upset me. Up until the end he still can't understand and trust Wook feelings for Soo. Lady Hae didn't have a problem with it and it is not like Wook mistreated her. If you love Lady Hae then respect her decision, it's like you have feeling for her but you don't understand her. Unreasonable jerk, Baek-ah!
