As a Mavs fan I can’t be mad at him for choosing family and financial security over everything else. I hate the fact that we lost him for nothing, but I’m truly happy for him.
But the problem is knowing this for a long time and not putting the Mavs in a position to trade him to there before it was too late. He knew for a very long time he'd be there.
Yeah we aren’t mad about him leaving just a bit upset that he couldn’t even get us a 2nd round pick or something at the least. We drafted him when probably no one else would of. He could of at least did that. I don’t think he was ever mistreated here either.

But boy did he get lucky Time hardaway hurt they trade away porzingis and he has opportunity for bigger role more minutes and performs well in playoffs He gained like $40-$50M extra from that 4 month stretch.
