i cant dance for my life, but i really liked hearing how he feels about how dance has given him a second family. i feel almost exactly the same way when it comes to music or theatre or an online community. Everyone has that little something in their lives that makes them feel like exactly who they were meant to be, and for every person it is a little different.

I wouldn't say it's the topics we're disinterested in it's the vastly different levels of production value you're putting forth.

The SubCultures videos are by far my favorite. The diversity, the soul that all of these facets have are remarkable.

I wish there were more channels like this. TH-cam is saturated with gaming, entertainment, blogging, etc. Not that any of that is bad. I think as humans we need something a little bit more substantial. Something we can get something from.

Krumping is a subculture that my husband is a part of that I've never really understood. Thank you for this wonderfully well put together, insightful video. I feel like my eyes have been opened a little more.

Ahh the drama that unfolded because of this! Actually, to set the record straight, Duece spells his name U-E and we actually misspelled it in the video in case you want to google him. It was one of those weird things that none of us caught until the video was up and instead of reuploading, Duece (as awesome as he is) was gracious enough to let it slide. So really, this is just a further lesson in the amazing human being that is Duece. So there you have it - the inside scoop! ;)

Well the reason I keep coming back to this channel is exacly because it's so diverse. I mean, coming up with profound and meaningful videos every single day would be exhausting and people may even lose interest that way.
I just found these guys from vlogbrothers so i'm new, but I appreciate the fact that there's something totally different yet entertaining the next day.

Great video and great stage.. If you didn't know, that great art behind the dancers for the most of the video was by dabs and myla, two very talented artists from Australia..

I like that all these different videos are on the one channel. If you put them on different channels I wouldn't want to subscribe to a few, but because the videos that I might not have subscribed to come up in my sub box, I watch them. And quite often these are the videos I get a lot out of.

Nice, I enjoyed this! Would have been nice to see some longer uncut examples of the dancing, and hearing the music they dance to. But I guess that won't be difficult to find elsewhere on youtube. It was a good quick look into krumping, well done!

As a musician, I've always been interested in dance as a form of expression. I can't dance and I've never bothered to learn because I have my own art form that works for me, but I think it's an interesting idea that a person can use purposeful body movement to create art or convey an idea.

Thanks for the lovely comment Kaos, I'm right there with you. I seriously encourage anyone and everyone to try and get in a circle and Krump for themselves. I sure don't have the guts - even when we filmed the section when I try to Krump I made everyone accept the cinematographer and sound guy leave the room! It's such an incredible art form and takes a lot more skill than meets the eye and SO much courage. Personally, I'm completely enamored by the dance style. :)

soul pancake comes out with these little gems
showing true diversity and passion in subcultures or basic expression in art attack
but then there are videos which I think deserve to be put on another channel
like an attempt at cycling or a video analysing the art or the ramblings in the back of a van or a slow talking girl with ridiculously loud backround music in live a little
soul pancake is capable of making videos with great production value but litters the channel with frankly boring videos
