As a finance minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh efforts will be always remember for future generations. He was the founder of modernization of Indian economy in 1991 by LPG reforms. He will deserve Bharat Ratna posthumously to his contribution for India.
I remember people criticising him ( including me) for not being vocal but later we all realised ki kisi ke rehte unki ahmiyat nahi pata chalti.. we only realise after they are gone ... Thanks to current FM for making us feel that difference and also understanding why he was less spoken ( empty vessels make more noise and fuller doesnot ). Huge respect for the contributions you made to this country sir

I think Mr. Manmohan Singh Ji surely deserves the highest civilian award of India that is Bharat Ratan. If he had not initialized LPG reforms, gave push to FDI India would not have been the same as it is now. He is one of the greatest economists with radical ideology and exemplary vision, examples of which can be seen throughout his Tenure as Finance Minister of India as introduced such powerful and impactful reforms during the Global Crisis which no other individual could imagine. Also one of the most humble delegates of India who never boasted his achievements. Not only he saved our economy from crashing during 1990s but he also established a foundation over which India's economy flourished in the coming years.
