Cavatina - Stanley Myers ( from " The Deer Hunter " ) - Piano Version

Cavatina is a piece of music composed by Stanley Myers, made famous by the soundtrack of the 1978 film " The Deer Hunter ". The piece was recorded by John C. Williams who performed it with classical guitar, although originally written for piano.

That piano version of Cavatina was really beautiful. Brings back a lot of memories I was in that region of Asia during the war in 1970. It calms me down.

Actually, when I play this on a digital piano, I opt for the harpsichord voice; it’s a passable substitute for a guitar & sound pretty good - the metallic overtones suggesting metal guitar strings
