There's no live version of Louder Than Bombs cuz they've never performed it live....it's extremely difficult, especially live. ARMYs have BEGGED for it, but so far without luck. As far as meaning, I think it just means they will turn whatever pain or struggle they go through into music and songs and will endure and take the good they can from it. You know, enduring and longevity are louder than bombs. And yep...those 3 dogs gotta guard the house!!!! (I adore UGH!)
I think vocal coaches have pointed out that the rappers use special voice freys so it would be really hard to do it live that's why RM has stated that they would need to work on their singing to do it live lol. I love that they are authentic enough to not do something live that involves manipulation of their voices but also proud of their art to put it out there because it's amazing as it is
Jhope stage presence and flow is unmatched 😮💨 he is an underrated among the rapline I feel because Suga and Rm were the first rappers and grew up in underground rap but Jhope? Hes just a born star fr 👏🏼 all of the bts rapline is insane tho tbh
I think the fact he not only keeps up but even stands out with such huge talent and presence as Suga and RM says how amazing he is. All 3 pushed each other.
You slightly misunderstood what they were talking about in Ugh. Probably because of your headache. I hope that you're feeling better now. They think that anger can actually be a good emotion, like when it fuels a protest or major change. What they don't like is the spiteful, malicious anger of the Karens and keyboard warriors of the world. Their kind of anger is reducing the impact of true righteous anger. People are becoming numb to the emotion of anger and that malicious anger can even cause people to take their lives. They hate that and want it to stop.
First time I've listened to Louder Than Bombs. Wow. Not what I expected. I looked and found a TH-cam video by the channel "A Piece of Korean Culture", in which the creator looks at the Korean lyrics and theorizes that Louder Than Bombs is a song about how BTS came to see the shadows in ARMY's faces (or to understand from the sad stories ARMYs shared with them) and notes their own times battling shadows. They promise to stay with us and sing to us to help dispel all these shadows. I'm so grateful we have all these songs to comfort us while they're serving in the military (a time when we definitely have some shadows on our faces). And "Ugh" I have heard explained as aimed at haters who try to destroy others online. "A lie becomes the truth." Thanks, Pat!
I became an ARMY in 2021 but it took me awhile to get around to Louder Than Bombs. I was blown away by the depth of this song. So many people had told their stories and the guys heard about the pain that ARMYs have and how BTS help ARMY deal with their pain. That the smiles at the concerts don’t mean they are truly happy, but they are happy in those hours they can be with BTS. Then they talk about themselves. That they can’t complain because others would just criticize them and “yeah, we picked this game”-But they end with a positive note saying they will not stop no matter the hardships and pain. Oh and talking about RM seems like he’s gonna punch someone. You need to see Cypher 3 at the Yet to Come Busan Concert. Not sure if it can be shown on TH-cam, but I think you can. But even if you can just see it for yourself, you should check it out. There are a lot of potential reasons there is so much emotion in this performance, but for now you should take a look at it. -Came back to say you are a joy to watch!
He basically yelled “you can’t control my shit” at all the politicians that were there and I love him for that. The way he attacked that line made so much sense after the announcement hit.
And his line "live ur life man", he changed it to "live ur life sucker" 😂 I love him for that, he stand up for his team, dont want SK gov to control their decision about enlistment. And the next day Jin drop the news about him enlisting, so proud of them all 7 💜💜
just a note: that lyric vid (by jaeguchi) for ugh is known for the errors in some parts of the line distribution and also some incorrect lyrics! i’m glad you reacted to the live version though :)
I like to say louder than bombs is haunting rather than creepy. Something about the instrumental and the way their delicate vocals lingers makes it both so beautiful and gorgeous yet haunting and mysterious at the same time if you know what i mean
Bro just casually reacted to two masterpieces of BTS' discography in a single video 😭 istg Louder Than Bombs is able to make me levitate. Loved seeing you vibing to UGH!!! This might be my favorite reaction video on this platform ^^ 💓
Ugh is one of my favorites on this album. As they say it’s a whole damn angry triste on how we are all so angry especially online and how it’s hurting society because we devalue necessary evil to fight evil and for truly important things because it’s drowned out by all this useless shit. It’s an incredible idea and song. They are so aggressive it hits perfect. It’s my Roman Empire 😂😂
One of the better translation lyrics of Louder Than Bombs is from the channel AF Taehyung. It helps to make it more clear what they mean. And they show who's doing the background adlibs. The part you asked about was JHope. 💜
Louder than Bombs is one of those BTS songs that they haven't performed live in concert. We may never get a live performance of it. We have continually requested that song be performed, and they haven't done it.
Pat Pat Pat, your so right. Don't come in my house cause three is waiting and their angry. MY bias JHOPE controlled the flow and that dang pimp sway at the end put me in a choke hold. I love the Rap line
I think you need to react to RM’s Indigo album. He’s actually so versatile. My ult bias is JK but let me tell you, my fave members’ solo album is Indigo.
This is talking all about all the hate on line. How they hate malicious hate that can end someone life. Hate if its righteous can be harnessed to change the world for the better. That sort of hate runs out of steam because we are so used to people slinging hate around. So the good kind of disgust of the unjust is swallowed by the malicious hate that is good for no one and is just like the dog faeces they are used to standing on.
I love these two songs so much. When you get to Friends, watch the video about the dumpling incident that had almost nothing to do with dumplings. It says so much about their friendship and how it’s evolved into what it is now.
The dynamic song & dance in the ‘Louder Than Bombs’ official music video (set in an underground garage and on a mountain) is really good, too, I think.💜
Ugh has a lot of Korean 'Slang reference's and it's about how people are too quick to anger. That they get angry over silly things and waste anger. As anger can change the world when people get angry at injustist etc that anger moves people to effect change for good. Anger can be good and bad it's what you do with that anger. No they are not angry that anger exists they are disgusted how it's used in the wrong way. Have you heard of the concept of 'Righteous Anger'. That's when you are rightly feel anger when someone is oppressing another but then that anger moves you to make a change that's the correct useage of anger. However getting angry over silly little things make's a mockery of anger it's a waste of anger and a belittling of anger. Anger that leads to someone's death is the mis use of the emotion of anger.
Thanks Pat!!! I look forward to your reaction to Zero o Clock and Friends. I was gonna type a synopsis on the two songs Louder than Bombs and UGH, but honestly i got lazy😂. The next two songs you will enjoy, a lot more calmer .
I think that BTS is acknowledging that anger is part of the human experience, and there are valid reasons to be angry. But anger has become so common-place and applied to things that aren't really relevant, versus things we should really be angry at. Misplaced anger, over-reactions for banal everyday conflicts versus righteous anger makes all anger common-place and normalized that no one even notices or takes stock of relevant anger today. Everything is worthy of anger, and everyone is angry. It has lost it' power. Just watch the news or social media. Ugh!
Haha Pat.. you okay? You're reactions always have me losing it over here lol. 2 of my favorites. I don't think I've ever heard anyone call Louder Than Bombs creepy before. It is definitely one of those well loved Army faves. Unfortunately there is no performance vid of it to be found because they have literally never performed it. Sorry but I can't this live performance of UGH without thinking of the behind the scenes where Taehyung runs out waving his RM flag and gives him a kiss. Too cute and funny. And they say they can't do Louder than Bombs live as it is too difficult. But when I think of some of the hard songs they already sing, even if they arranged it differently or did an acoustic version, I am sure they could do it. ARMY is gonna lose it if they do.💜
Dkdk TV has a explanation of this song that I think you'll enjoy. A lot of references escapes us because we are not from that culture, I would really enjoy seeing you react to to this.
Glad i am not the only one that rewatches. His reactions are just a good time lol. I especially enjoy it after a hard day at the office@kashtribebudgets3636
You should really do a reaction to Ddaeng (Rap Line,Live performance). Maybe with an explanation video on top. Great reaction, though. Louder than bombs is one of my favorite songs ever, btw.. I love the eerie atmosphere.
When a dog is excited to meet you it might bark that's part of it's commuication, it's tail will be wagging and it might be running around. A dog that might bite you might first growl, snarl as him warning you off and you should remain calm and just walk away as if you are unconcerned.
I've read your comments and now understand the actual mean for the Song 'UGH!'................

If you really want to blow your mind, listen to the Explanation By A Korean video for Ugh!
Your 3 dogs comment has me subscribing to see more of your BTS reactions.
You should watch the Busan Concert performance of Ugh. I got so hyped. And you should also watch the Cypher 3 concert there too.
You just posted this a day ago, and they announced J Hope's documentary and OST today. You asked for another album... 😁
You should really do a reaction to Ddaeng (Rap Line,Live performance). Maybe with an explanation video on top. Great reaction, though. Louder than bombs is one of my favorite songs ever, btw.. I love the eerie atmosphere.
lololol "They're just excited"
Ugh....they've all had friends that have died because of online comments.
4:20 that's j-hope in the bg doing adlibs
I think the word you wanted to use for Louder than Bombs was HAUNTING and not exactly creepy 😁 but I get it 💜💜
You lifted that Samsung like Iphone users😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
UGH benefits from DKDKTV explaination video.

When a dog is excited to meet you it might bark that's part of it's commuication, it's tail will be wagging and it might be running around. A dog that might bite you might first growl, snarl as him warning you off and you should remain calm and just walk away as if you are unconcerned.
Do you know J-hope is coming with a new album on 29 march... It's called
HOPE ON THE STREET
Are we ever gonna have a live performance of LTB? like ever ? 😔
