The problem with the million dollar winner guy is that mrbeast said he was going to help set him up for life but in his own video he talks about how he HAD to spend most of his money for the video and when it came to trying to set himself up he only got a limited time, which would go directly against what mrbeast said he would do. 10:50 on the 1m winner, you saying that the clip was cut in a negative light. It made it look tame, because the most important part of the video was cut out. Jimmy told him that they hired a financial advisor to help him manage the remaining money, but when the winner was calling Jimmy he ghosted him.
When they were buying cars he couldn't even choose the cars he wanted since Jimmy was just egging him on to buy the cars Jimmy liked instead of browsing for what he liked first and bought let's say unfairly priced cars for him to drain his money faster. Him having very limited time to decide on the things took out all the control from him. Imagine a very important decision a person has to make then another person puts a strict timer on it, most people even intelligent people are liable to make a mistake and that's a fact.

The issue with the shirt incident boils down to this:
Each shirt purchased in the first 5 minutes was essentially a raffle ticket. Imagine if a community group held a raffle, sold 500 tickets, then suddenly announced that they threw out all 500 of those tickets, and were going to sell an additional 50 tickets, and draw the winning ticket only from those.
How is that even remotely fair?

When the theme was "I will plant 50 million trees cus no one else will. Feel free to support me in this goal", there was genuine sense of charitability to it and even if it was fake, at least people didn't expect to get something in return personally, so the incentive was never about gambling to get something in return. It was donation to forward a good cause.
After he changed his entire theme to "giveaways" aka parasocially enabled gambling for minors, that's where the film broke. He's no longer asking kids to support him to achieve these philanthropic objective goals. He's asking them to pay him for the chance of getting rich themselves in a fully unregulated casino lottery format.

The reason he brought up the point about Mack being moved into a new house from across the country is because it's clear irrefutable evidence that Jimmy puts his friends in his videos as competitors. It's not the only example of it, but it's one example being used to solidify the fact that it does happen, backed up with supporting evidence of: they paid him to move across the country and house him, gave him a job at the company, and have had him returning to the "game show" videos multiple times.
I'm not really getting why this is such a hard thing to put together.

Having someone come out with more direct accusations isn't really surprising. Nor is it a surprise that the Beast team tries to brush off and obfuscate the questions raised and hide any evidence that might validate those questions -- it's like seeing behind the scenes at Disney World, it breaks the illusion... and the illusion in Mr Beast's videos is what drives the revenue.

There is the claim that Feastables is healthier than Hershey's and trying to market it as a healthy option when it has more sugar than a can of soda, there is also the one about ''If you take a pic and show me your receipt I will send you money'', which can be seen as a form of extortion. And then theres the streams, where they change the rules of the giveaway every 5 minutes, claims the shirts are all signed by mr. beast(when theres on screen proof that other people are signing his name) and targeting a child demographic.

Look at the laws. IF a youtube video , which is considered 'entertainment', is NOT considered a gameshow, then the laws applied to gameshows don't matter. You can claim it's a gameshow but that doesn't make it one in the eyes of the law. And changing the rules of the game as you state it is up to the creator, in this case Jimmy.
If MrBeast gives away 'his' money, he can change the rules as much as he wants or give it to whomever he wants. His money, his personal rules. It's that simple.
And anyone who believes that MrBeast does everything out of the kindness of his heart, is a frikkin moron. Does it make him a bad person, no, it makes him an opportunist who's in for it for the money and the perception of being 'a good guy'.

What he is referring to is that it would have been best if MrBeast had helped him manage the money rather than spending it all in 24 hours.
When you spend 1 million dollars in a short amount of time, you are forced to buy everything you see rather than purchase things you need.
So, this man got all this stuff, but he did not get hardly any of the things he truly needed.
The way it should work is like this.
You find out you have won 1 million dollars to spend in 24 hours.
Make a list of everything you want and need to purchase in person or online.
Make these purchases to the penny, and you will have everything you need instead of everything someone is forcing you to get.
MrBeast did this wrong in so many ways. He has made the million dollars back probably two times from that video alone.

9:03 You are right in part, as the guy doesn't blame Mr. Beast but it can be edited to look that way. He has no hard feelings, he just is saying he wishes he did things differently, that he had more time to think about these things and let the adrenaline wear off. The problem was that Mr. Beast handed him the money, and then used his status as the one giving the money, to force the person to then spend the money before he could even think about what to do with it.
He then filmed this guy as he spent it, not letting him decide what to get, but the team goading him and pushing him towards things to buy, it would be like if the Lottery commity, after you won the lottery, then showed up at your house and started trying to goad you into spending it friviously. So he was too afraid, too hyped up to tell them no, he didn't get a chance to go get much, more was pressured to buy a lot of stuff he didn't NEED but may have wanted.
Then, after he spent a lot and let them film him doing it, he was cut loose. He claims he asked Mr. Beast and the team for help investing the money, and he was promised they would help and get him sorted out, but then he got ghosted intead and he didn't know how to invest the money himself. He was luckily smart and didn't spend the money needlessly, but it also didn't grow because he didn't know how to invest and manage his money at the time.
The point being made is that it was clearly exploitative, they got the content they wanted and pushed for, and then once they couldn't get much more use from him, they cut him loose, which is a bit of a thing people have noted in the past that those that do win, are often ignored after the fact. This is entirely not a problem, because as a business, that is expected, but it just runs counter to the public image Mr. Beast has grown. They care about profits and what makes them money, not ensuring everyone is happy and safe.

Then they went out and had him buy a bunch of electronics and other things to look good and like he was getting all these fancy things, like how he bought Two Nintendo Switches. It was literally framed in a way the same way as giving a homeless man $1000 and then going to buy him nice clothing and get a haircut, but ultimately just like those "giving money to a homeless person" videos tend to be, didn't keep up with him after the fact.

The one thing that needs to be kept in mind is that both waivers and NDAs do nothing to void the law. Lawyers have commented on this before. For example with Oceangate, there was a line in their waiver that voided all responsibility to the organizer of the dive, Oceangate, and that any potential injuries or deaths would not be on them. Well, that isn't the case considering that the NTSB and other organizations are considering criminal charges. In this case, though, it's not sure what can be done legally without getting case law first. And this could certainly be the first for case law in regards to internet competitions. After all, we have online eSports competitions that are regulated and they aren't being broadcasted on traditional media and are assumed to be honoring the letter of the law despite it not applying to them.
    Food for thought.

One point that was brought up is how MrBeast's advertisment is no different than what was going on in terms of cartoons and toys during the 80s and 90s. The thing about that though is we already had groups and even laws made to counter that type of advertisement towards kids as the decade went on, to the point that the Clintons signed a bill that required non-cable shows aimed at kids to be EDUCATIONAL and in order to even air cartoons on certain networks you had to meet a requirement of education to 'regular' cartoons, which was one of the factors that killed Saturday morning cartoons, NOT cable.
The thing with MrBeast though is he is one of those 'approved' faces that was claimed to be safe for kids and 'not like those advertisment mind rot'....even though that's EXACTLY what his entertainment is. The reason it got away with so much stuff was because it was 'safe' and on the outside looked like it was 'teaching kids' good lessons like how to donate to charity, be kind to people, and all that good stuff but because of that, it's worst than the money machines of the 80s/90s because with that stuff, it was BLATENT in what it was doing and to WHO it was marketing towards. MrBeast is 'kid friendly' but hid all this gambling stuff right infront of kids and parents who think he's a good enough replacement for their actual responsibilities. And again, all the 'right' people prompoted him as wholesome and safe while condeming marketing that was at least honest with itself and had no qualms in what it was doing being shitty. This is probably why so many people are having a coniption fit over all of this; they built a parasocial relationship with MrBeast THE BRAND thinking it was wholesome and nice and they were making some sort of statement by going along, only to find out everything the brand does is just as shitty as every other brand they claim to hate.

The fact that people are calling this gambling is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. Gambling is when you put money on the line in the hopes you'll get a prize: there's a risk. There is no risk with paying the same amount of money as per usual for a product you always get. That there is the _potential to get something extra_ adds no risk, nor can you honestly aruge that it's full on "predatory." It's a marketing strategy meant to hype up the product and boost sales. Shit either exactly like this or extremely similar to it happens literally all the time in the sales world, and it's not criticized. Why? Because there's nothing wrong with it. Buy one get one free isn't predatory, sales aren't predatory, this isn't either.

Yes you do get the food of the happy meal either way, but it's about the chance of MAYBE getting a toy that would incentivice children to whine to their parents about it to get it for them, which boost sales due to poor judgment of someone (a child) who isn't capable of understanding that they're being taken advantage of.
      *Edit:
Oh, and my happy meal analogy is downplaying it, because we're talking about large sums of money, lamborghini's etc as the winnable "toys" instead of some plastic happy meal toy, further incentivicing kids to get their parents to buy it for them.

@@Shockguey is it really a contest though? Do you have the knowledge to prove it is? Do you even know how to define a contest? I agree with the gambling / lottery allegations , it's pretty bad to do this when kids are the primary audience . But the other allegations are completely stupid . Oh wow who would have guessed that he didn't really pick 100 random subscribers but they were actually selected to make the content better.

      Autogynephilia.
It has been documented for quite some time with people that self identify as trans. Yet you get immediately called transphobic for even hinting that maybe it's some sick fetish. When nowadays you don't even need basic qualifiers like actual diagnosed gender dysphoria to come out as a trans.
