- I think this is one of Michael Schenker's most musical performances. Robin's voice never sounded better, and Spencer Sercombe's rhythm guitar and harmony vocals are excellent. Try this one in full screen, I think you will like it.

There was an "unplugged" tour with Michael, Robin, and Jeff Pilsen(original Dokken bass player)as the rythm guitarist/backing vocalist. I was living in Ft. Lauderdale when a friend gave me a pair of tickets to see them in a club on Ft. Lauderdale beach. Amazing show.

Gig.... At That Show I Walked Right Up In Front Of Him And Gave Him A Flying V Earing. A Year Later At Acoustic Show I Waited For The Boys To Come Out I Said Hey Michael Remember Last Year The Guy Who Gave U The Flying V Earing He Said Yes Yes Fantastic. Then Said Hold On 1 Second And He Came Back With A Poster Signed By McCauley Pilson And Himself.. Being You Were At This Show You Will Be Glad To Know I Still Have That Poster !!!

Msg with Robin was the most professional band there ever was in their style. Period. Michael never had a more tighter and pro act outside the McAuley Schenker Group incarnations, live and studio they were sheer pros all the way. Great music and hard rocking tunes outside that era, too.

Yes, this was definitely recorded in Toronto... It was rather unexpected that MSG would be in the house that day... So there may not be a lot of info on this recording, but I remember seeing it happen live.

Gary Burden was also great, but absolutely, Mc Auley has the perfect vocal pitch for AOR/Hard and suits perfectly with the genious Schenker!
I loved gary Barden!!, but this guys kool
I saw Barden with Schenker about five or six years back. Band was great, Barden was brutal. He couldn’t hit most of the choruses. He either had his voice crack, changed the melodies or tried to get the audience to sing the chorus “with him”. His schtick wore thin really quickly. Give me Graham Bonnet, Robin, Keith Slack or Leif Sundin any day.

It was recorded at Much Music studios in Toronto. They used to have unplugged sessions at the studio fairly often.
