If skill 2 could activate his passive like maloch, unfortunately maloch will no longer be able to activate his passive with skill 2 because in the next update it will be the same as lu bu hok
I always want one thing from Lubu, which is that his first ability activates as 3 attacks, that they are two fan attacks with dashing In launching with the lance, as well as a pikeman. And I don't think he should touch his ult since it gives him an impact by doing teamfight by applying either cc and tremendous damage if he brings damage build like siegebreaker. And even though it doesn't make much sense that they partially reduce the soul devourer's health with part of his maximum health with the shield, it doesn't even make sense. It's not like he's going to become broken. I like that he has his own sustain but if he should reinforce the sustain part more, he really needs his survival towards the 3 skills, and the ultimate If you need more because I felt it was little and it is more
Hope you cover either Kongming or Yuhuan next, mainly because of the jungling items' changes where ranged hero only gets 50% of the burn dmg from it. For Kongming, he's quickly becoming one of the most annoying hero for me, partly thanks to the season's reset and how most players are so clueless and just keep feeding him. The bigger reason though is his "rework". Funny how moving 1 stack from Skill 2 to Skill 1 could make such a huge difference. As for Yuhuan, i tried her as jungler once after the patch and my god, her jungling speed felt noticeably slower even though i used the dmg build. The dev really hit a bullseye on how to indirectly nerf her without affecting her kit (after all, nothing is changed on her kit). I hope you could cover her soon to put a spotlight to that
@@x_GHOST_x Yeah, that part doesn't look as important as it should in the patch note, although to be fair, the only notable junglers that are affected by it are Yuhuan, Kongming, Mi Yue, and Fang. Every other "true junglers" (as in, excluding off-role like Milady Jungle, etc) are grouped as melee hero even one with supposedly ranged BA like Augran, Liu Bei, and the recently-reworked Luna. Honestly, it's a deserved nerf for Yuhuan considering her dominance in pro scenes and Peak Tournament. When her user is efficient at jungling and she has a decent team, it's often impossible to stop her. She'll just outfarm everyone on the map and then group up with her team to completely shut down scaling heroes.
Personally i wish his 2nd skill can extend the duration of his enhanced mode. That way he don't have to go near as much to poke with his 1st skill as much
Lubu has some mobility issues since conception. Sure he has higher damage output now but its useless when they dont even hit. He needs a dash skill, not just speed buff from the second skill
Giving Lu Bu a spammable dash (ult is technically a dash, but its animation + CD are too long) will definitely make him broken considering his burst dmg + tankiness. I mean, just imagine a Dun but he could deal 2000+ true dmg in a single swipe and that's basically how Lu Bu will be if he has a low-CD dash. Personally, i don't really mind if he's unable to "catch" high mobility heroes. That just means that it's not his job to deal with them, so let your team handle the opposing Charlotte, Li Bai, or Lam while you target someone else like barraging the frontlines with true dmg BA or diving backlines with ult to burst them enough for your assassins to clean up. That kind of thinking is probably what helped me the most when playing CL with heroes like Li Xin and Liu Bang. Since i don't overthink about unable to kill the enemy's annoying CL, i could focus on scaling and farming instead

Keep in mind that he's a scaling hero that needs items, so you probably didn't farm well enough and were behind in networth than your enemies, which is why it felt like he deals no dmg and too squishy in your game. Another thing is how did you trade dmg with him. His Skill 2 is actually really strong for trading dmg and when combined with smart usage of Skill 1 to keep his weapon enchanted, he could even bully most CL in the lane by just spamming BA. My point is try to be more aggresive in lane whenever your Skill 2 is available so you won't be pressured too much and ended up unable to scale. As for the lack of CC, while it's true that he only has ult for hard CC, Pure Sky actually solves that problem in some way. When its passive is combined with his Skill 2, the slow is often strong enough for you to either chasing a target or escape. So yeah, as a whole, his Skill 2 is probably the more important part of his kit despite how bland it looks
brother, you are using him way wrong, for starters you need to aim your skill one horizontally, to hit the enemy with the very edge of it, using it vertically lowers your range. id suggest to first understand the hero, in order to in turn, start critizising him. Not to mention some flawed points you stated.

@youagain8447 Lubu sucks as a solo laner but a very valuable teamfight hero. Just wish he gets faster to maximize his damage output
