  • An idea i had for Orchestra
    This was the first thing i started to compose once i got hold of the new musescore 4 sounds, so its pretty safe to say they do help bring out the best of your creativity and imagination. if you can, get them its a great tool for composers.

    A bit of my background as a musician for those who are interested:
    I study and have been studying classical music for about 10 years, also have studied jazz for 3 years (you can hear some of it in my pieces)
    Composing for around 3 years just for fun but started to take it a bit more seriously and actually try to improve around 1 year ago.

    Sounds very beautiful! The harmony there seems very interesting and influenced by jazz . Hope to hear the piece finished soon!!!!

    I'm a Japanese person passing by who has a similar hobby.
    It's a nice song that's easy to listen to, with a sentimental and solemn feel. Sorry to bother you again.

    I really like your harmonic choices where did you gain this harmonical knowledge?

    • @Dinis_Brito
      @Dinis_Brito  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      i gained it by studying jazz, reading bill evans transcriptions and other pianists also helps with understanding some things. in general jazz has helped me a lot.
      Also just improvising is really helpful and watching those synthesia videos of many great composers like rachmaninoff (my favourite) to see what is actually going on harmonically.

      @@Dinis_BritoI will keep in mind the technique of blending jazz and classical. Thanks for the information.
