    So far one of the most deep interviews from the podcast. Thanks. Taking in count overall Oakley was a good/great role player between the 80s and 90s in two contender teams, similar to JJ in the 00's and 10's, the interview was pretty clever. Most of the media don't understand the context of the NBA as a league today, so they take for granted the changes that the League have suffered the last decade and discredite it. At the end, there's no answer, If one era was better than the other, is better just to apreciate both, the story already told and the story that is developing right now.

    it is about making the most money with the least amount of injuries to players. rules to protect players and by extension the nba product. nba is successful - highest paid players by far than any other league. wait until the new tv contract in 2025. max contracts for 10 year players will be $350M for 5 years.

    90’s era was definitely tougher but not as talented as today’s era. Those knicks team played a physical style of ball because that was the only way they could win. Ewing a great player but was never the best big in the game surrounded by a bunch or role players that fit together. In the game of basketball skill beats toughness
