Translation Note: Actually they were arguing over whether they are Yin/Yang (In/Yo in Japanese) personality types. In this video I translated Yin to introverts and Yang to extroverts. In general, Yin personality traits are introvert, reclusive, quiet, passive, sensitive, dark, cool, otaku. Whereas, Yang personality traits are extrovert, outgoing, sociable, aggressive, ambitious, bright, warm, normie. And @Meffmef ひ has an even better explanation that I'm gonna paste here too: They’re saying 陰キャ (inkya) and 陽キャ (youkya), which is Japanese Internet slang that has nothing to do with the English terms introverts and extroverts. 陰 means shade and 陽 means sunlight. キャ is an abbreviation for character. Inkya is typically used to describe people with gloomy withdrawn personalities that stay in the shadows, while youkya describes sunny positive outgoing people. Inkya’s also considered of a low social ranking within schools, so it’s low-key an insult, though a lot of internet users self-depreciatingly embrace it. It doesn’t have an accurate English translation, but the vtuber community seems to have settled for the misconceived definition of introversion and extroversion.
if you havent seen a soraru live concert yet just know that he has the stamina and skill to shine on a stage, i think soraru and mafumafu are probably exceptions among utaite, they really put a lot of effort into stagecraft and live performing and it shows. imagine having to go out and organize these sorts of big events, choreography, costume, everything, when you've been shut inside a soundproof room behind a lil blue avatar for most of your career
@@Senless don't make me say it but the hikifes was like the difference between the sun and stars, like utaite mum and dad had brought their extended family out on an excursion to tokyou dome and it was blessedly wholesome

Amatsuki.... has good.... communication... skills.... tho..... HE CAN LITERALLY CLOSE THEIR GAP LIKE AS OF THEIR RELATIONSHIP, AND BEGIN TO ACTUALLY NOT TALK FORMALLY
yeah he can make conversation become fun and lighter. but he is actually a shy person. if he is with more than 3 people, when the conversation going without him, he will be silent, and then his listeners would scold/encourage him in comment like "say something!!" "just go into it!!" "you can do it!" "you’re too shy!!", and he will mute his discord, and complain in his stream saying "OF COURSE I CAN'T SAY ANYTHING! I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY ANYMORE! Introverts (or in this case, yin personality) can talk to others and have fun too! I think it varies from person to person. In this case it's more about that they're comfortable just being by themselves (maybe cause of the long hours that they have to spend in their rooms, recording and editing their music...)

Kuzuha seems confused. "If they're introvert, then I'm extremely introvert????"
Utaites are mostly Hikikomori. Soraru, Mafumafu they often put it on their show/song titles lol so yeah they're definitely introverts

True 🤣
i wonder if the way it's translated if it actually means asocial, and it was just translated to introvert since a lot of ppl in english misuse it? idk
