If you've never considered this, meat is the flesh of an innocent sentient being that God created. He gave them the ability to suffer and feel pain, to feel love and bond with family and friends, they value their lives. When you eat meat you are swallowing sorrow and fear adrenaline, full of animal hormones. Vibrant health is a bonus when you become vegan, you will lose all your health problems on a whole foods plant-based diet. It's how God created it in the Garden of Eden.

I also don't eat much chicken as it doesn't have the same beneficial effect for me and also, where I live it's hard to find high quality chicken for a reasonable price.

I’m personally not a big Medical Medium fan, and I’m not sure if he has research to back up that claim. There is research that suggests that EBV promotes IgE mediated egg allergy. I believe that’s likely why I started reacting to eggs after I got mono.
Do you feel worse when you eat eggs? I’d try taking your pulse before and after eating a bit or 2 of eggs, and seeing if your pulse raises more than 6 beats. If if it did raise that much, I would avoid it.

My dear, if you are craving meat and cheese, then you are not "vegan" but on a plant-based diet. When you realize that animal products come from great suffering and have seen what happens in slaughterhouses and factory farms, you will definitely not be craving something that's not even food. Great video topic! I went to an all women's college, so have many feminist leanings, and my husband is super conservative about men being leaders in the church despite being raised around women pastors. Be interested to hear more on this as I have studied God's call for women in the bible and think you can be a feminist and a Christain, but it does depend on your definition of feminism. That can have many meanings.... I guess for me it comes down to there is still a lack of awareness about women's issues on a social level. Take for instance our health. Until recently we were not studied as unique from men. I think this is why we do not understand issues that plague women more. Also I think drs are quicker to dismiss women than men with health issues and there are many stats to support this (I had to bring my husband to multiple appointments to be believed about my health). Just a couple examples of why I feel advocating for better treatment/understanding of women is still a contemporary issue sadly.

“The Secret Life of Plants 1979
      Directed by Walon Green
      Synopsis
AN INCREDIBLE WORLD OF BEAUTY AND TERROR WITH A HAUNTING MUSIC SCORE BY STEVIE WONDER.
The story is a documentary of research that shows fairly conclusively that plants are actually aware of what goes on around them, even miles away. It is somewhat humorous in the methods it uses to prove the secret life of plants, but thought-provoking in the conclusions it arrives at. The most wonderful thing about the film is the soundtrack. This is original music composed by Stevie Wonder. There is even a scene in the film of Stevie singing one of his songs in a boat on a river. This scene is very moving, as Stevie is blind and yet able to know where he is going. The scene is the climax to the movie, and metaphoric as to what has been presented about plants, that although they don’t seem to have senses as human beings and animals do, they are quite well aware of what is going on around them and where they fit into this in the evolutionary process. “

Jihansen LInda how do you reconcile the fact that cats eat mice? Mice are also feeling beings. Should we starve all cats? Or should we let nature run its course?
I had a friend who became vegan. I warned him that he should be careful and take into account nutrient deficiencies and also antinutrients found in common plant foods used by vegans, for example in soya. Nevertheless, after 3 years of veganism he developed major health problems, an histamine allergy, and in the end could only eat a very small selection of foods without triggering the allergy. It was quite a serious condition. I haven't seen him in a while now but hope he's better.
