Right click movie or precomp in Project panel - Make proxy: movie. 0:38 In Render Queue - Select Apple ProRes 422 as codec 1:09 In final render make sure Proxy use is "Use no proxies" (default) 2:52
Hi, thanks for your sharing. May I know is there a button on timeline that can toggle all proxies on/off like premiere pro do instead of switch on one by one? Thank you
Now let’s say I start out editing in premiere so I create proxies in there, and then I use dynamic link to edit in after effects, so I have to create proxies again in AE ?
@@alexr.4746 idk why I asked. It's kinda stupid. And i even used ae everytime. I knew it. I just wanted the confirmation if is this the right English word.

Whats the difference between still and movie proxy?
Now let’s say I start out editing in premiere so I create proxies in there, and then I use dynamic link to edit in after effects, so I have to create proxies again in AE ?
Have you figured this out yet? I think its a yes when linking to after effects, you have to proxy all the composition clips again.
hi guys.. I just learning after effects, I have a question.. how you delete the render queue after you render... ? thx
you can either selec the file in the render queue and press delete. Or you can just click the cross next to the render queue to delete it altogether
What about if you are working with comps that are graphic intensive which dont include video files. Does this method still apply.
Yes, you can render out the comp and re-import the animation.
is there a difference if you just change the preview from full to custom?
Huge

Why when I use proxies can't I put effects on the video? I have to disable proxies to see the effects
You can add effects to proxies. Not sure what you're experiencing.
won't this interfere with masks?
