One thing for sure that I've always admire abt YG is the fact that most of their hit songs were only relying on YG inhouse producers. Imagine if Teddy's, Bekuh Boom, Vince, Future Bounce's (etc) touch weren't involved in those songs, i don't know what would the songs become.

P.S money is becoming more famous than Lalisa, which wasn't even prod by teddy. Lovesick girls was such a good song because it had a freaking chorus. Same goes for stay hope not you never know or bet you wanna, these songs are actually so much better. he uses the same formula again and again and again. Ddu ddu literally makes no sense lyrically other than it being a well produced mv, same goes for ktl and don't even get me started on hylt, the chorus sounds like autotuned farts 😐 say what you want and deny it how much ever, he's getting repetitive af.
Finally an ACTUAL rapper talk about how Lisa has some amazing cadences, if you listen to Love to hate me she has own of the best rap verses, playing with fire, ddu du ddu du, stay, all of these sound totally different, but Lisa's haters like to attack her saying that her rap is always the same flow like, you automatically know they know nothing about rap and have barely listened to 2 mainstream songs of Blackpink.

Production is always brought by Blackpink (mostly because of their producer Teddy) and this is just one example. Their genre and flow switches are always entertaining and it's one of the reasons I never get tired of their music. If I had to suggest the next one I'd say either Crazy Over You or Whistle. Great rapping in both and the productions in both of them are phenomenal.

Pretty Savage was an instant favourite of mine as well, just like most BLINKS and Lisa herself said it was her fav of the album i believe! Its such a savage song, and the melody is just another level. The girls voices fit this kind of song just so fucking good, they all killed it.
It does not have a video but it does have a good live performance that i recommend u see. The James Corden show one was very good, i recommend that one if ur interested!!!

I love everything about this song - especially how they go out all smooth when you're expecting another hard drop. It's their way of saying "there's no point in smacking you around with anymore savagery, let's leave you with some of the pretty". It's the ultimate flex.

I don't think they've ever mentioned who her rap teacher/coach was as a trainee, but whoever it is, they did a really good job teaching her various styles.
I also think she is bit of self taught obviously with the help of professional i mean she was into Hip Hop since childhood and when you look upto all other yge rapper they all have this trap smooth flow like Jennie cl etc etc but Lisa is different 🤔
