If they can't be restored, at least they can be part donors so something else can live on. I always imagine when they were new and how much pride the owners must have had. They must have generated a lot of excitement when they were delivered. The original literature with the names is priceless.
The owner bought each for his boys to run on the 22 acre farm. They must have been on those constantly. It’s impressive to have the same two machines over 70 years and never upgraded.
In a way we have restored too many good tractors. I know the rusty ones need to be restored but some of these originals with good paint needs to be preserved in its original condition. Its only original once. Great video and i just subscribed.
Thank you! I debate this a lot with upcoming projects. Mechanically and electronically as sound as I can make them… either clear coat the existing paint or refinish… different for everything and everyone.
Will 100% show progress with the channel, William. I will be as careful as I can trying to free that one up, it deserves it after a long life with the farm!

Restore them if you can. I'd be careful about freeing up the locked up engine. Take your time with it.
