I was just talking about this with my partner. In that regard, he’s a really unusual bassist. Most (myself included) are the thinkers, the introverts, the peaceful, quiet ones etc. Of course it’s not always the case but more often than not it is. III is an exceptional exception!
Their songs are super deep, sad, tragic, and emotional, but you just know these motherfuckers are having the time of their lives and laughing their asses off together, and I love that.
You can tell Vessel's been through a lot of shit. I hope he looks at where he is now-- at the music, genuine art which he could be proud of all by itself; at the band, and the fans who love 'em-- and feels at least a little bit healed.
I love that their whole thing is Ves doesn't speak, II used a voice modulator for his drumeo video, IV is just vibing there quietly and bassy boi is like *VIOLENTLY BRITISH* I DONT FINK SO *adhd energy* He is a national treasure and must be protected at all costs.
