Thank you for checking out the video. It’s such a fun section that pretty much always has flow. Going up river to get the falls is a hike but nothing your crew can’t handle. When is that Devil’s River video coming?
@@texasdangler6958 Cheers to that man! Yeah that waterfall looks very appealing especially on a hot summer day. Devils video will drop next month. Started editing it last week. So stoked to bring that one to life
if you were in the kimble county area in a little town called junction i know were all the good bass spots are i grew up there got alot of secret spots
@@texasdangler6958 nice I plan on making a fishing channel soon I will make sure to include a few spots where you can see the bass hit the lures underwater
We put in at the second 377 crossings when leaving Junction. Our take out was at our shuttle service South Llano River Canoe & kayaks. They are right off the river before you get the state park. Give them a call and they can get you set up for a trip. 325-446-2220
I was using the Super Fluke but I’m sure the Jr would get them just as good. I took a tent with me but ended up just cowboy camping using a ground sheet, sleeping pad and sleeping bag.
I plan on doing a video on this soon. I use a combination of other TH-cam videos and google earth pro to map out all the details. I have a group friends that are always down to hit the river.
This was such a rad video! Can't wait to try this section out.

Hell yea! Can’t wait to see it.
Looked like fun, nothing like fishing spring fed rivers. The Llano is on the bucket list, I've done a San marcos river run though.
We didn’t hook into anything big but the scenery made up for it. They had a bad flood back in 2018 and since then the fishing hasn’t been as good.

That’s awesome. We were in that area and found a few good spots.

that river is gorgeous
Yes it is. I’m hoping to get back on it this year.
Never been on the Llano. Very curious so excellent watch. 😎👍
It’s was an awesome trip. The good thing about this section is that flow rates are alway enough for a trip.
Where did you put in and take out?

Nice!!!
Thanks!
@@texasdangler6958 you're welcome
Would you mind telling me what the put in and take out was and do you know what kind of flow was happening when you went?
Get with South Llano River Canoe & Kayak on Facebook. They offer a great shuttle service.
Great video, I love that little river. Were you using the Zoom Super Fluke or the Super Fluke Jr? Also did y’all use tents or just cowboys camp it?
I was using the Super Fluke but I’m sure the Jr would get them just as good. I took a tent with me but ended up just cowboy camping using a ground sheet, sleeping pad and sleeping bag.
How do you plan your float trips? Put ins, take outs, camping spots, rapids, etc.? Traveling with friends or part of a club?

how do you tell the difference between the Guadalupe and a normal spot
Their coloration goes further down the body. Also in this area of Texas they stock the regularly.
Did y'all by chance leave behind a Texas branded lighter at your 2nd camp spot.
Not mine. This was back in October.
Do you use a kayak cart to move your kayak ?
Not on the river. We just unload heavy items like coolers and drag or carry them. I do use a pvc cart I made to get down to some creeks I fish.
Put it in reverse, Terry!
Classic!
