We live in a dwindling society. We'd rather observe the smoke and mirrors that are put in front of us(social media, news, etc) than go out and experience life the way it was meant to be experienced. We spend too much time worrying about what others are doing, wasting our finite time. We're too engulfed in the mainstream that we forget what we're capable of. Those who could be doctors, lawyers, sevicemen, etc, are turning into influencers because they're fed utter nonsense. This is the age of social media. The chances of you seeing someone of great status are minimal compared to you seeing a video of an ai reading a reddit post with half of the screen being taken up by gameplay of a video game you've never heard of.
Well one argument in his favour, some people like their privacy a LOT. And thus do not want to be globally recognized super celebs because that comes with a lot of downsides to it. E.g they can't go out in public to do normal things without running into fans. Imagine if you had children of your own and you have to plan around crowds of strangers rushing you? Fame can suck.

He's been through a lot growing up, it's amazing he was able to push through, he dealt with domestic violence at home, also he got a medical degree cause of of his fellow soldiers died infront of him what a power house!

We are legal immigrants. My brother was 18 months old when we arrived in the US. My brother joined the Marine Corp and stayed for four years. He helped his friends in the Corp and as well as civilians. He graduated as a doctor in skin graphing so he could help out his comrades who were burned in the line of duty as well as civilians. American Asian as well.

He was taking our advanced course and I learned that he was an attorney, MD, PhD, had a doctorate and was a General in the army. I once asked him, "I don't understand. You have all these degrees and you're so accomplished. Why are you going backwards in getting your massage therapy license?" He replied, "I don't see it as stepping down. I'm adding to my repertoire. it’s all mostly luck and hard work according to Jonny Kim. I may be wrong but in his podcast with Joe Rogan, he became a corpsman as it was the only useful specialisation that was offered when he joined the seal teams and he’s very lucky to have a opportunity to be a sniper early in his career while other seal members waited years. He never intended to go to medical school in the first place until he left the navy and holds a mathematical degree. He holds a promise to his dad/mum where they wanted him to go to Harvard school. He had mental health problems after leaving the military. He gone through medical school unemployed, with a girlfriend and 2 babies at the time. He said he was just a normal person and doesn’t have any gifted talents. He believed it’s all hard work. He became a doctor because he wants to help people He never thought about becoming an astronaut until NASA offered him a selection process to be an astronaut. But he really did achieve things when he actually put his mind on it.
At the rate he's going, I would not be surprised if Jonny Kim ended up being president within the next 15 to 20 years. I doubt he'll head that direction, but his other accomplishments are vastly different from one another and so going from being an astronaut on a moon mission to being the president of the United States would not be a crazy leap for him to make. Dude's a total badass with an incredible success rate in every aspect of his life.
You know what, I was thinking the exact same thing! Being a Harvard grad and military he already has the pedigree. Plus his experience as a doctor and astronaut will give him a unique inside perspective to deal with challenges of the corresponding departments/agencies.

It's an stupid example but Sheldon from Big Bang Theory is such an example. If I'm not wrong there are even studies that show the higher the IQ of an individual the higher the risk of being depressed or "stuck in your head". I think in general the mental "stability" can be lower if your IQ is higher. But then again there are other factors as you mentioned.

He's been through a lot growing up, it's amazing he was able to push through, he dealt with domestic violence at home, also he got a medical degree cause of of his fellow soldiers died infront of him what a power house!

I may be wrong but in his podcast with Joe Rogan, he became a corpsman as it was the only useful specialisation that was offered when he joined the seal teams and he’s very lucky to have a opportunity to be a sniper early in his career while other seal members waited years.
He never intended to go to medical school in the first place until he left the navy and holds a mathematical degree. He holds a promise to his dad/mum where they wanted him to go to Harvard school. He had mental health problems after leaving the military. He gone through medical school unemployed, with a girlfriend and 2 babies at the time. He said he was just a normal person and doesn’t have any gifted talents. He believed it’s all hard work. He became a doctor because he wants to help people

It's an stupid example but Sheldon from Big Bang Theory is such an example. If I'm not wrong there are even studies that show the higher the IQ of an individual the higher the risk of being depressed or "stuck in your head". I think in general the mental "stability" can be lower if your IQ is higher. But then again there are other factors as you mentioned.
