Hey Wayne, I can't thank you enough! Your instructions worked perfectly for Delphi 12 CE, only difference was selecting D29 packages instead of D28. Pascal interpreter was the only component that would not compile. I've been using Delphi since D3 (1997?) but I've never got the hang of installing components. Thanks again.
Ok, that was a win for me! Seriously, the instructions I found elsewhere were never complete, especially adding paths to the Library. I really, really appreciate the time you took to make this video. The only thing I suggest is that you provide links to the software in the description area as all your links timeout.
Hello, your explanation is realy very good. Mostly appreciated. I did exactly as you showed. Just one thing is driving me slightly mad ... whatever *.bpl I would like to install, each time I get a warning : " ..."The specific module could not be found". i checked and doublechecked the BPL output directory. It's both in the package output library path AND in the library path, as per you instructions. Windows 11. I do see all the BPL's in this directory. Your insights are appreciated. /Dirk
You are very good at making tutorial videos, you should do more tutorials on Pascal / Delphi... make programming tutorials for people if you have the time.
When compiling JVCL I get an error message: "[dcc32 Fatal Error] JvPascalInterpreterDesign.dpk(53): E2202 Required package 'bdertl' not found" How can I solve this? (Delphi 12 CE / D29, Windows 11)
Thank you. Getting ready to do a lot of Delphi stuff. I just found all my old source code from my commercial projects from the early 2000s, so once I find the time, a lot of it will be available through the demo code projects. (Not the entire projects, but broken down into simpler projects.) Very excited and cannot wait.
Thank you! You just got a subscriber! 🙂
Thanks a lot. You solved my problems with my D12 CE Installation using the D29 packages!!!!
Thank you, it helped me a lot!

That is the plan.

@@cffcs Already done man :)
The best part about making these videos is that you need to watch them yourself to install the programs again.
Thanks!
