How can they enter a building in New York and look out the window to see another version of themselves that only exists in one woman's brain? How does the simulation exist between hosts? This show seems to always want it both ways, like that Mathew Broderick Stepford Wives movie where in some scenes the wives are robot replacements that can alter breast size and dispense money and in others are just said to have chips put in their brains to be more compliant partners.

This show is a prime example of the Lost syndrome: to throw ideas because they look cool and make the show to run like a headless chicken till the audience lose interest because they realized that the writers obviously don't have any plan or conclusion in mind. Then they end the show with the most stupid finale ever.
The new horror show "From" does the exact same thing, except it's just a bunch of moments that are creepy or horrifying without any connection to the rest of the plot
They were living inside of a simulation that was being hosted by Mr. Curtis' wife. Each person in the simulation was given a number. Mr. Curtis was number 2. The Main Character was number 6. Sarah was 313. For some reason, they don't have their memories when inside the simulation, but some people remember a few things, and so they're called 'dreamers'. Anyway, to make a long story short, Number 2's son was born in that world. He wasn't someone from real life who joined the simulation. In other words, he wasn't real. So he killed his mother and then himself. 313 decided to be the new host of the world since 2 said they can't escape into the real world without a new host. Sarah (313 irl) fainted when she began hosting the world. The main character became the new boss of Sumakor. He was now known as number 1 the simulated world and he promised 313 he would rebuild the simulation to be perfect. (Thus repeating the endless cycle... Which is why 313 cried.)

If it makes you feel any better (I could sense your frustration) the original from the 60s was just as confusing. I remember watching this in my teens b/c of "something" that allowed Brit TV to be shown to American audiences for a short time and I saw a bunch of these old shows - Dr Who being the best. Back then this show was all about secret agents and spys'. It was just as confusing and with every step forward there were 2 back. I gave up on it. At least Blakes 7 had a comprehensive ending - not a good one, mind you - but a comprehensive one. The Baddies won!

This movie remind me of a movie that has escaped me for 20 years. I've been searching for the movie to rewatch. Yet unable to find. What I can remember of it. Man escaped from another universe. A universe where dreams are illegal. He happens to see the main character's wife. The odd part is she has looks identical to his wife that passed away in his universe. He ends kidnapping her. Then a guy and someone else from that universe comes to the aid of the main character. Putting on a set of special bracelets on his arm. In which he discovers has the ability to bring him back to life fully healed. Because he takes out the men that work for the guy that kidnapped his wife. I don't remember all but one he blows the building with both him and the hitch man. The all are dead except that he still had two bracelets left. Him and his wife awake in body bags. He unzips his. Then goes to his wife's body and frees her.
