Please say hello to Kuya Darryl he is always smiling and very hardworking. Smart Kuya Darryl, safety first. Mukhang siya na naging star ng video niyo hehe.
When I watched this video makes me remember the time of my father's generations how they worked so hard to get their livelihood in my country Seychelles. Before tourism and industrial fishing became the pilar of our economy work were mostly in coconut plantations for copra, cinnamon industry for cinnamon oil and mining guano. These were hard labour work and everything was manual, no machine. The europeans landlords exploited the workers and there were classes in the society. After Seychelles got there Independence things changed with the construction of the international airport and the extension of the victoria fishing port with one of Africa's biggest tuna factory. Today even our country is the smallest in Africa we are rated as the Richest in terms of GDP per capita and the best government in Africa. The only thing that makes me sad with all these is that with development there are many changes that happen to a society. In our country People change, social problems with alcohol and drugs, lost of cultural values, our cuisines gets invaded with foreign cusines, the younger generations are not the same as before lack of respect for the elderly many more negative things a developed society brings apart from the good side of good infrastructures, better education and health services, the worst of all is that people become lazy and obesity takes over. I sometimes believe it was much more better during the old days people were poor but happy, enyoy to live with the little they had. I saw this in the Philippines too, now I heard that there are possibilities for huge interestment from rich people in the Philippines, hope that this do not bring these changes with it.
Great Comment! But we need Solutions! not only in the Philippines but throughout the world! Traditional values are often crushed with new invading thoughts just like the Ferns parasitically killing the Palm trees. So Solutions please Not Anecdotes. We all wish we can turn back the hands-of-time. My 2cents? [Balance]... Always reward those who keep up and continue traditional Values: Like the use of the Carabao and other non-heavy-mechanical items.
Filipino farm men are incredible. They are so used to dangerous and destructive insects and knowledgeable on harmless and harmful snakes too. They climb tall trees with ingenious method and not with modern machinery. They look like what they are doing is just easy work. WOW!!!
Nicely piled cut woods for firewood. Just be careful that snakes won't make it their home. Daryl is a very big help and you learned a lot from him because he has a lot of knowledge about the environment plus his skills. You're blessed to have him.
Hello Darlene,,aplayan nyo ng fertilizer ang saging at nyog para tumaba at madaling mamunga 14-14-14 complete fertilizer every 3months,, para sa nyog haloan mo ng asin 1kg bawat puno.,,thanks...

Hi Darlene and Boris, just a reminder, the pile of logs will invite snakes and termites. If you are planning to dispose or sell it, its better to sell it earlier, as it may invite snakes and termites. Just my opinion. Im happy to see, your farm lot is now cleaned up. So beautiful.❤

A post borer will make excellent holes in that ground fo you to plant in but also to put post when you wand to build structures and fences You can save your coconut husks and shells to use as fire material too.
Hi…I would suggest you to plant bamboo tree also because bamboo tree can also be very useful to build hut or little barn or whatsoever. You can plant it at the end side of your land.
I have to say my husband and I learned a lot tonight about coconut trees. We never knew these types of trees could inhabit so many centipedes and snakes. Mind blown! We truly enjoyed the incredible knowledge, strength and hard work of these guys. Our utmost respect to them as well as to you both!
I love that there are multiple languages being spoken, but everyone seems to understand little bits, get along and work well together. You are building something very special here. My only advice would be to take your time, this is one of those projects you want to last your entire life.
You can transfer the stingless bee (Tetragonula biroi specie) to a wooden box so that when they have honey and you want it to harvest, you can easily remove from the box. Stingless bee honey is more expensive than the bees' honey.
I learned a lot in your videos,I never thought that those ferns are hurting or killing the coconut trees, plus having hard time growing fruits.Thank you.❤❤❤ our property has lots of coconut trees too.
Boris when you build your new house hope very soon I'm very much concern about your safety you know many bad people now a day's so more extra careful specially at night one more thing your house near the road so be alert and ready don' t talked strangers during night time specially when it is raining and people stranded your place please don't let them in ok if ever something happened to you both noone will help cause their house far from you pls. don' t ignore my friendly advice god bless
My goodness. My first time to know that snakes and centipedes lives on coconut trees. Good thing that Darry has boots. You should all wear boots until the area is really cleared out. These creatures can also crawl in your pile of woods, so be careful. The people who are helping you are hard working. Take good care of them and they will take good care of you too. It's nice to have people who can help you.
Борис ! Конечно , в этих джунглях деревья обросли ненужным мхом и другим И остается очищать , вычищать , приводить все вокруг в наилучший вид Труд перетрет все !
Thank you for sharing! The farm is a beautiful spot and Daryn has been a wonderful help as well as teaching us about the land in the Philippines. Keep up the good work guys!
Cutting grasses and shrubs in your farm is difficult. it will take only two weeks before new grass will grow again. To remedy that you can buy goats. They only need grasses to eat, .low maintenance because you don't have to buy their foods unlike pigs or chicken.
Very good content Boris and Darlene! So interesting and entertaining. Your farm is getting even more beautiful. Love to see you guy’s providing work for the locals there. ❤

Make a bamboo bed in your kubo so that you can rest there. Put hammock too.
Hello boris and darlene" when you decide to build your house in your farm you have to make sure to exterminate all the termites' nest and eggs.
One can never exterminate the termites as it is a natural thing. One can control it.😮😮
Love your channel, love you guys❤️
The coconut water is high in potassium just like bananas. Good for your health.
A post borer will make excellent holes in that ground fo you to plant in but also to put post when you wand to build structures and fences

I love that there are multiple languages being spoken, but everyone seems to understand little bits, get along and work well together. You are building something very special here. My only advice would be to take your time, this is one of those projects you want to last your entire life.
I suggest you plant dwarf coconut tree like tacunan and catigan. It bears fruits 3-4 years after planting.
You can transfer the stingless bee (Tetragonula biroi specie) to a wooden box so that when they have honey and you want it to harvest, you can easily remove from the box. Stingless bee honey is more expensive than the bees' honey.

One advantages living in rural areas where fruit bearing trees grow is having the fruit ready for your consumption. Coconut juice is very refreshing.😍
