I feel like Neymar was always what could of been, so much potential but just the injury and maybe just didn’t have the work ethic, it felt like a lot of games he didn’t give it his all.

Bunch of bs. Neymar is the last of the old school dribblers. He made an impact, just not the way we expected. Its crazy that people call him lazy or not productive enough when he has phenomenal stats and tracks back the most as an attacker. More than Mbappe and Messi did at PSG. When this guy isn't injured, he's the best player in the world. Carried Brazil in the World Cup and international competition and carried PSG as well in the UCL to the finals. Its either him being kicked to death or his team constantly letting him down. Neymar truly plays with Ginga. I'm not Brazilian but I've always been an admirer of the Seleção. Neymar at FC Barcelona was one of the greatest dribblers this game has ever witnessed. The way he played is how we imagine ourselves when dreaming and he did this with pure Brazilian flair. He brought Brazil's mens team their first Olympic Gold Medal and he has one of the greatest stats for the Seleção. Leave the man be, he's an all time great and he did play Joga Bonito.

@samuraibirds917 all time great? Stop it. Not close. Maybe you're more emotional about but logically he is not close to be an all time great. He had a chance.... And he blew it. I mean he's richer now but not an all time great. So much potential going to waste.

@@lakersrdbestother than Messi Ronaldo and maybe Suarez no attacker of this generation is better than peak Neymar . He is brazils top scorer/assister and has the most ucls assists since 2013-14 Carried psg their first ever ucl final he has nothing to prove when it comes to club football he won everything with Barca by 23 only international but when it comes to that he performs but Brazil usually doesn’t and came 10th ballon dor rankings while playing for Santos

    • @lakersrdbest
      @lakersrdbest ปีที่แล้ว

@Noname-rn4gl I get that he carried psg. I get that he's really good. I get that he performs well. The problem is his inconsistencies and his seeming of being uninterested in futbol and more interested in party and being rebellious and not leading to any long term success.
Believe me I know he has so much potential. I feel he has more than we've seen in the tank against true powerful competition.
But he's not an all time great because he has not performed in many areas where others have performed and very well. And those players were consistent and stand out and world-class players.

Neymars career is not a failure but he’s underachieved. Maybe it’s his fathers influence but he only thinks of short term and money. So much individual talent but it’s so often style over substance. He’d be good for the MLS as he would bring massive publicity. Whereas Messi is the exact opposite, substance over style, always letting his football do all the talking. Messi is the real deal, a level above even the world class players.

The Arab Champions League, an unapproved FIFA event, is a preseason friendly tournament. It prepares players for official regional competitions, including the Saudi Professional League, the Saudi King's Cup, the Asian Champions League, and the Club World Cup.
The number of Al-Hilal team championship: 66
The number of Al-Nassr team championship: 25
Ronaldo's planned move to Al-Hilal was halted the same year due to a registration suspension stemming from a dispute between Al-Hilal and Al-Nasr over the player Mohamed Kno. Both clubs hail from Riyadh; Al-Hilal has the largest fan base, while Al-Nasr, known as the "Little Riyadh Club," lags in championships. Due to its fewer titles and a play on the Arabic word for "victory," fans often derisively call Al-Nasr "poverty." More details can be found with a search.

Tbh, the truth is that most western media can’t phantom the idea that Saudi league would be competing with European leagues for the best players and fan reach in such a short time, so naturally there’s a jealousy that comes from them when they comment on it.
Also, we as fans need to understand that to most footballers, playing football professionally is a job and not just a hobbie so they go to who pays the most, like most human beings would.
However, the fact is Neymar has won every title in European football including champions League, leagues, UEFA super cup and fifa world club cup, so there’s no new challenge or nothing left to win in Europe

When this guy isn't injured, he's the best player in the world. Carried Brazil in the World Cup and international competition and carried PSG as well in the UCL to the finals. He brought Brazil's mens team their first Olympic Gold Medal and he has one of the greatest stats for the Seleção. Leave the man be, he's an all time great and he did play Joga Bonito. Within 1 year, Ronaldo caused the Saudi league to become better than the MLS. Neymar is still a world class player and look who joined him vs Messi's MLS. Saudi: Ronaldo, Benzema, Mané, Neymar, Mahrez, Firmino, Kante, Mendy, Jota, Fabinho, Talisca, Brozovic, Telles, Henderson, Ruben Neves, Koulibaly, Savic, Malcolm, Ospina, Banega, Tello, Denayer, Vitinho and Dembele vs MLS: Messi, Alba, Busquets, Insigne, Bernardeschi, Wanyama, Benteke, Shaqiri and Kamara. "The Saudi league is better than MLS. I opened the way to the Saudi league, and now all the players are coming here". Simply one of the greatest. Europe spitted him in his face, especially his own home (Manchester) after he spoke for the fan base. Ronaldo is the Pele of the Saudi League. The only reason the U.S. was able to make the transition from the NASL to MLS was due too Pelé. That move was financially backed by Warner Communications at the time. This is literally comparable to the way that Pelé brought football to the United States when he signed for New York Cosmos. One famous player was able to cause a massive influx of foreign players that wanted to play in America for bigger salaries which eventually led to the United States hosting a World Cup. He revolutionized football in the United States and was the one who paved the way for the ermegence of the MLS. Its all part of a natural process and it includes Neymar.

Brazil is creating monsters. Neymar wasn’t going to be the best player next World Cup. Vini, rodrygo, martinelli, endrick, roque and all those up and coming young talents. He might have a leadership role but ain’t coming in as the best player and Brazil doesn’t need that. To be honest this might help him be healthier and the league is growing.

Brazil flipped in 2014. Neymar was a top 10 player in the world. You have the backline of Thiago Silva, David Luiz, Dani Alves, and Marcelo. All in their prime.
But the midfield was wrong. How do you not start Fernandinho and Willian at that time? How is Oscar getting the nod over Countinho when they were both starting for their respective clubs. Or go with the experience of Kaka!

I believe Neymar is still at that champions league, top European football level. Not that Saudi Arabia isnt good at trying to grow the sport in Saudi Arabia and the middle east part of the world, To grow the sport is great and everyone spends money, European clubs aswell, so i dont believe saudi arabis is ruining football or whatever to be fair. Regarding Neymar, imo Neymar has been arguably a top 3 or at least a top 5-10 footballer of his generation and his achievements are endless despite some people expecting him to be on a Pele, Messi, Cristiano, matsdons typenof level. Again Neymar's career has been better than most players, but still it feels like he could do a luttle more which i think is unfair but at the same time his ability and talent is probably on a messi or Pele type's level imo. But the thing is that some people believe he could have achieved more, while others believe he still has done better than most players which is true. For me Neymar is a player that splits people in those two groups as mentioned. He is basically a player that gives discussion about what could and couldnt be done in some way. All in all i think Personally Neymar is probably a top 20 footballer if all time, both on avhiements but also talent and Ability. I think Neymar also is a top 10 footballer in talent and ability. So i think people or at least some people regard Neymar in that sense.😊💯⚽🇧🇷👑🔟

Either way he done goofed and he failed. In terms of money he made the right choice but in terms of trophies and career he fcked up. Also not choosing to take first penalty at the last World Cup was wtf moment. He's an amazing player and dribbler but his decision making skills are garbage.

LOL don’t even compare Neymar to a GOAT in Russell. Even if it was less teams he still was playing in the best league in the world in basketball at at that time and limited legenads like Jerry West and Wilt to 1-2 rings respectively along with other greats like Oscar Robertson.
Neymar is still a legend and don’t like people saying he was some crazy busy or disappointment, but he it is true he never live up to the levels of Messi and Neymar.
He is literally Kyrie or Carmelo of basketball. To be nice he could also be similar to Dirk or KD in basketball but those guys proved to be better winners than Neymar in there respective profession.

Literally the EXACT opposite of what a private business is supposed to be. They are paying these exorbitant wages for players to grow the game within their boarders to get a 2030 World Cup bid. This is about positioning the Country to be rewarded for a World Cup; not about growing a business.

Not only China. Look at England with so many good players from abroad for so many years. In their case it had raised the level of the league , but when was the last time England won the WC? In the near future more players will leave for the money. Those Saudi teams that attract players with a great amount of money must learn from PSG. Maybe they will be successful to win domestic leagues titles, but international titles is something else.
