I think at least a couple of the old magnamon x is worth including cause it can be a real strong counter to wide boards, then if you run some heavens judgement you got a counter for a big boy as well
I think another consideration for the level 5 slot is the yellow ace, not quite as strong as shouku perhaps but can be played more reactively on opponents turn, or by itself for cheap if you really need to get into mangimon x quick
@@madbeast15Yeah, been debating over the two. Zudomon seems a bit weaker when not much else of your deck removes digivolution cards but also doesnt tapper off in usefulness if your low on security. idk, how useful has he been for you?
@@Rurike it's been good, it can usually bounce something most games but it's not super necessary. Yellow ace has its merits, it can help you swing over big stacks
@madbeast15 yeah, that and the kimeramon is an interesting option you can get to 4 colors real easily for wide boards, or of course the shakoumon. Lot of choices
Old Davis and Ken imo is much better. It gives the same memory as P-124 but it also allows you to evolve into your magnamons and unsuspend them for either more attacks or blocking
how old davis and ken is better than p-124 not only p-124 cost 3 to play but also plays a body on field and most of the deck dont really care about a tamer that unsuspend a 1/3 of your champion already unsuspend by itself, 1/3 of the champions do not have armor purge it simply plays another veemon that can´t attack when it dies, the level 5 wiil mostly be by jogress so it drop on board unsuspended, 2/3 of megas also unsuspend itself on evolve, there is only 2 jamming veemon so you wont really be pushing with rookies. there is no need for that old davis and ken

Honestly, I think Jesmon GX is very worth it. I just saw a video explaining 5 checks in one turn with Jesmon GX yesterday haha Your Magnamon X swings for 1 check. You Digivolve into Jesmon GX and When Digivolving, you tuck BT8 Magnamon or BT16 Magnamon X under to unsuspend and then Blitz. Running BT8 Davis and Ken will also let you unsuspend again (either for an attack for game if you have enough memory, or so that you have a large active Blocker next turn). Because Jesmon GX has Security Attack +1 for each RK under itself, it has +3 Security Attack (Magnamon, Magnamon X, and either another Magnamon/Magnamon X). Jesmon GX is a neat way to get a bunch of security attacks or even win the game.

I like Zudomon Ace better because it can evolve over the starter deck Magnamon.

Fire rocket lets you play it ignoring color requirements if you have a Armor Form card on the field.
