Hey Lauren! First off, I just want to thank you for being so raw and authentic in your videos. Your journey of trusting yourself, and conquering those mental break-downs is very inspiring and beautiful. One question that I would like to ask is, "when one distrusts themselves (like in your story), and hits that mental block, what is one thought/quote that has helped you overcome that, and move forward with living life?"

So crazy inspirational, makes me want to get out Michigan that much more.. Saw this first on the billabong instagram and the whole video blew me away. Couldn't help and watch all of your videos too & I realized all of your adventures that I could follow along with.. they're insane cool. I did have a few questions for you..dozens really but I narrowed it down. First, who'd you get your spontaneous attitude from? I'm so envious of it. Second, where has your favorite adventure been? And how often do you go through with adventures like this? Your career is so awesome to begin with I can't imagine Iceland and what it had to offer. Can't wait to hear responses. I'll be following your adventures they're so damn thrilling even to watch.

So as a girl surfer it is honestly very inspiring to hear what other women surfers have to say. Along with any sport, we all fall down and get frustrated with the stresses of competition and failure, sometimes loosing sight of the real meaning of surfing. Whats your advice to others on keeping your mind in the ocean and sticking to the true reason why you started surfing?
Hi Laura! Since I'm from Sweden, I haven't had any opportunities to try surfing, but now I'm going to Bali to try it for the first time and I'm so excited. I was wondering if you have any tips for me as a first time surfer? And if you've been on Bali, maybe you've got any suggestions on nice places to surf or see? Take care!

I have a question for you :) I live in New York, where the water is always cold, every time when I go surfing, I have to prepare myself to the cold water. I was in Iceland this past summer as well. I bet the water there is a lot colder than New York, how do you normally get yourself to surf in some cold oceans?

OMG I love all of your videos! I'm so glad I found them and I'm in love with your personality and your confidence! I'm 16 and I just started surfing this year but I'm scared that it's already too late to start. I really want to be a pro surfer and surf on the ASP world tour but there aren't any waves where I live so I can only go max once a week. Is it too late to start and if not, do you have any tips to get to that level at this age? I think my biggest struggle with surfing is dealing with other (more experienced) surfers in the line up. I'm always afraid I'm going to piss them off because I don't really know what I'm doing. Sometimes I let it get to me so much that I don't even want to paddle out if it's too crowded. So my question...what's your best piece of advice when dealing with intimidation in the lineup ?

First of all amazing video, you're so honest. I wish I could do my sport as my profession. I play korfball (a sport famous in The Netherlands and in Flanders, Belgium), I play it on a high level and one month ago I tore my ACL. Playing sports is important for me but now I have a long revalidation. My question is How would you deal with a serious injury?

Hey Laura! What are the top 5 things on your bucket list?
What was your inspiration to go to iceland? It is not the most obvious choice for a girl who has ridden all the waves between Europe, the US, Africa and what ever else ;), but mostly in hotter climates i suppose. I think that iceland is a great great Choice because it is very special, mystical and extraordinary. Would love to go there too in 2014. Love every Episode about you on this channel. Question: Have you ever considered other sports like surfing or long boarding?
Hi, I got a question, I would like to know what are your thoughts when you´re getting into the water?, how you set your mind to face the ocean, I was a freediver, thanks to my MS my trainning days are over, but anyway, for me it was simple, I visualized every detail of the descent while I was swimming or travelling to the dive site, I was so happy just to plunge my head underwater, For me the whole experience began at home, the preparation, the trip, everything was an important part of my freediving, not just the performance, when I was underwater nothing else matter, I was in a state of joy, that's all.

Hi Laura, My name is Jess, I live In Cronulla, The Shire, Sydney, NSW, I am only new to surfing. I started surfing about 6 months ago, I get really intimidated when I go out surfing with my friends and family, the reason for this being that im am afraid that the other pro surfers out there will get annoyed at me for geting in their way or taking their wave etc. I guess my question here is have you ever felt this way out in the line up before, and if so how did you deal with it? Sometimes I dont even feel like going to the good spots when its to crowded because I feel as though I am not welcome there. One more Question though Why do you enjoy surfing?
