Hey guys! Welcome back to a brand new roblox studio development related video. In today's video I was challenged to make an entire roblox game in 10 minutes.. and I did just that. It was pretty fun not gonna lie. Let me know if you guys wanna see a 1 hour challenge or a making a game in 24 hour challenge. I think that would be super fun as well. Sweet . I am just now learning Lua . I know a little bit of python and am still working on it but I am working on Lua also because I hear that lots of games have been written in Lua . I also hear that you can integrate Lua into other programming languages fairly easily . My main focus as far as coding is to make games that me and my friends can play . I have friends that are super picky as far as gaming . I also want to make games like I remember them when I was a kid without microtransactions , not online and with local multiplayer . I think auto save or internal memory are the only things that I would not change . I was a pain in the but carrying around memory cards all the time and making sure you didn't deletd or overwrite your saves by mistake . Good job on the game I do not think I could do that in ten minutes . I am still learning even once I do learn I am not going to be able to make a game in 10 minutes . Maybe in Blender but not in Roblox .

@@poutineponton3924 arguments are the parameters that you pass into a function . For example . Def fart (noxiousGreenGas):
fart = fart
(noxious/green/gas)
return fart
Now before you go thinking this is all correct you may want to look up how to define a function in python .
I am sure I have like 70% correct .
I was never that great a programmer. I know enough to write some sentences , do some calculations , draw pictures , write a list and write a quiz .
So don't go thinking any of this is 100%accurate.

I didn't know a challenge video would actually teach me something I didn't know about, it's like no matter what type of video it is every single TheDevKing video is extremely helpful.
(The thing I learnt was _G which is extremely helpful, it's a global variable)

it is ez to make a gun in 10mn but when it looks 2 days there is an reload/shoot/knockback animation and a good ammo/gun model. Compared to 10mn it's just enough to make a gun that deal damage.

Yup, inserting a script and pasting some prepared before lines, unless the only thing it will do is print something on the output

For anyone that wants the bullets not to have any delay. Try out these tips (:
1. Set the NetWork owner to the player thats using the gun(Will still have a small delay on other players games but not yours)
2. Rotate the bullet to face the mouses LookVector and use a "Heartbeat" event to update the bullets CFrame. And disconnect it once it hit something
