Castle in Moszna. In 1866, the palace and the surrounding forests were bought by Hubert von Thiele Winckler. He started work on expanding the garden. On the night of July 2-3, 1896, a fire broke out and the palace almost burned down. Reconstruction of the damage began. In 1900, in parallel with the renovation, a neo-Gothic wing was added to the original Castle, characterized by its towering height and many towers. In the second stage of the renovation, the construction of the neo-Renaissance wing was completed, enclosing the terrace on the garden side with a horseshoe.
The Count's office, a desk, a wooden oak coffered ceiling and a Neo-Renaissance fireplace have been preserved in the Moszna Castle. The stained glass windows show hunting scenes and the coats of arms of families related to the Tiele-Winckler family. Hunting motifs were reflected in the hunts often organized by the Count with the participation of the German Emperor - Wilhelm the Second. The office also has original wainscoting and the most valuable monument of the castle. A wooden portal surrounding the door through which you enter the office.
The park in Moszna near the Castle is one of the largest and most valuable in the Opole region. It is a type of landscape park, freely connecting with the surrounding fields, meadows and forests. It covers an area of approximately 330 hectares. The park is listed as a cultural monument and is under conservation protection.
